seria bueno que al momento de que llegue un mensaje lo mostrara sin necesidad de estar desplegando la barra de notificaciones. y seria también bueno qye existiera una opción de personalisar el fondo de las conversaciones de los mensajes de la galería del celular

disable mms option
i would lika a way to disable mms, it is not really used in my country and when i send big sms or sms to multiples, it sends mms. my contact cannot read them and i have to split sms into pieces or sens sms individually to everyone. very annoying :(

pin conversations is available! but...
it would be great to have just the bubble/contact icons instead of the entire icon and message bar.
when pinning multiple convos, it gets too crowded.

When getting notifications make the shade go edge to edge on the screen like on stock app notifications

Auto Theme Contacts Color Palette
Generate or allow a user(why not both options) to pick a color palette to match the Textra theme for the auto theming for contacts, so the conversation colors aren't so mismatched compared to the Textra theme.

Add a N icon at new added feature
Please add N icon at new added feature in setting menu so that users can recognize that is new feature. The N icon will disappear after users select the item to see.

Textra must be default app to send messages. allow Textra to send messages when it is not set as default messaging app

Android Nougat Style Notification Pop Up
The notification Pop up style is still the same as Android 6.0. Android 7.0 has a full edge to edge style notification

White Text
Bring back the white text!!! I am using a yellow theme and once my app updated all the contact names and headlines changed from white to black and I hate it. give me a way to change it!

in the android heads up we have a reply button. please add a 'read' button as well

More subtle sent notifications
So the "Show sent/delivered" options works pretty well, minus the fact that it pops up very abruptly and with no animation, and it's even worse if it's short message because then it gets shoved to the left by the super long "Delivered" notification.
I think it should be a small bubble next to the message itself, similar to Allo. Or take the iMessage approach and show it under the most recent group of sent messages.

Nicknames
It would be cool if a contact has a nickname saved in their contact book (address book) that the nickname gets used instead if the first and last name.

compatible with smart watches
Would be great if textra was compatible with smart watches as a stock messaging app and not just able to recieve the messages.

Fond d'écran des messages
je pense que sa serais plutôt cool de pouvoir personnalisé le fond des message au lieu que se soi uni noir, blanc etc... donc je pense que mettre un fond de notre choix galerie etc... serais mieux voilà

Optimize display for 18.5:9 (Galaxy S7 / LG G6)
Please optimize the display for 18.5x9 screen ratio. New phones like Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 have this screen ratio. THANKS! and absolutely love your app! =)

Message Count
This app would have it all if you were able to customize the color of the unread message count on the textra icon. Not digging the orange that much.. This should be a easy one for you guys... I Love the app and I am a pro user. Just wanted to let you guys know that this is the best texting app out there. Thanks for all you do....
