Backgrounds Please
You have such a beautiful, functional, and customizable user interface, except the choice of backgrounds - light, dark, black. Couldn't we at least have a color chooser / mixer for the conversion list and conversation itself?
Being able to choose wallpapers for these would be wonderful! But at least being able to pick our own colors would be an improvement.

Contact Number on Top
Maybe you can include the phone number below the contact's name on top of the conversation. It would make it easier to determine as some contacts have 2 numbers.

Switching the buttons on newest delay-to-send update
The new delay send feature looks really pretty and I love the option of being able to send a message before your delay-to-send timer ends. But I've been using Textra for a long time and have grown used to hitting the send button again to cancel the send request whether it's because I noticed a typo or wanted to reword the text. With the cancel button now resting on top of the send button, I've found myself sending messages a little too quickly when I actually meant to hit cancel and rework my text message. Text and call log auto cleaning system.
Chatheads don't close when replying one time. Text and call log cleaner/auto cleaner. Those are my ideas.

Delivered outside of text
I don't really like the way delivered is inside the text box, so could you make it outside the bubble instead?

Splitting recent contacts
It would be nice if there was a divide between recent messages and ones that are getting old to clean up the look of the app.

Show conversation history
There should be an option to show conversation history in heads-up notification as well as marking message as read from notification. Ex: Pulse and Android Messenger

Auto Theme Reshuffle
The idea of auto theme is really great but a lot of the people o text often coincidentally have similar colors to one another and takes away from the feature. it'd be nice to do a Reshuffle of who gets what color.
