    a lot of monitoring services send status changes via sms. customizing notification based on content, e.g. different sound for messages containing "UP" and "DOWN" would be helpful

  2. Merge/group by contact

    have messages combined into one message if phone numbers all under the same contact.

    one chat for contact that has multiple numbers that can send messages.

  3. Reply to Selected Message

    Would love to be able to select a message and reply to that message. sometimes i get behind in my replies and need to be able to let the ricipient know which message im replying to so the conversation doesn't get too confusing.

  8. Recipient Groups

    I don't want to create multi groups in my contacts. The only time I respond to multiple people is in SMS. And certain people especially family may be in 5 or 6 different group texts. I would like to be able to name those groups in Textra.

  9. auto read reply.

    i think user of textra. would want a setting that Shows or notice when or if my sent text was read.. i sometimes do not get replies until the next day or hours..? option to get a reply if textra sent mail was read.......

  10. Smartwatch App

    An actual app for Samsung smart watches would be great, not just notifications. With Samsung and other messaging apps leaving this would be the perfect time for you to take over. Those who have a smartwatch know that you need the same app for each device for it to work (because you need both apps to be the default ones on each device). I get that you have a notification feature on the watch but it's not the same. Most of us are going to be stuck with Google Messages which is terrible compared to Textra. I don't care about…

  15. knowledge if you're blocked or not

    idk it'd be kinda cool if I can tell if someone has blocked me or not, so I stop wasting my time and energy on something/someone who's not interested in anything I have to say. the double check marks just tell you that it's been sent/delivered but still doesn't tell me if I'm blocked or not.

  19. Group Blind Messages

    The ability to send a text message to a large group of people without the recipients being able to see who the other recipients are.

    For example I am sending out a Christmas text to several people in my phone but I do not want everybody in the text group to see each other.
