  1. Quick reply that's closer to IOS and Stock Android -- View, Reply, and Close options. Stable screen.

    Two ideas:

    1. When the message notification floats on the top of the screen, have an option to view the entire thread (i.e., go to the app itself), reply quickly (but no need to bring up the full conversation), or dismiss the notification.

    2. If you wanted to keep the current method of quick reply (bringing up the whole conversation), then keep that conversation up until dismissed so as to allow for multiple messages without having to push send and then go into the app.

  2. Have the timestamp at the bottom of each message.

    Instead of having to slide to the left to see the timestamp, the timestamp should be at the bottom of each message .

  3. sending bubble animation needs to go!

    This new " Sooo smooth: send a message to see the new sending bubble animation." has either got to go, or needs to have a setting to turn it off. I customize my phone for speed, not for stupidity. That'd why I purchased Textra. This is by no means an improvement. If I wanted childish animations, I'd buy an iPhone. Please add a way to turn this crap off!

  7. Different Colors for Contacts in Group Messages

    I love the Textra app, but I just have one bit of feedback. Can you add the feature of selecting the color of the contact and having it show up in group messages? Google Messenger does a great job of that and would love to see that feature in Textra!

  11. Change notification color back to being on the right side

    I just installed the latest update last night and now the color notifications for unread messages is on the left side. I prefer it being on the RIGHT side as it was before the update. Now that it's on the left side it is not as easy to notice since it gets kind of obscured with face icons I have for my contacts. Please put the notice icons back on the right side where it's much more easily visible, thanks!

  12. Why is the Textra App so big? My app is now 2.1GB

    I was shocked to see that the Textra app is 2.02GB in size. Please let me know how to reduce the size of the app. Thanks.

  14. An option to disable the notication icon in the status bar

    i personally prefer a clean status bar.
    I recieve the notification from an incoming message via the heads up notification and my phone has a notification Led, so no need for a third notication even it is just a small icon in the notification bar :-)

    The chooseable colours are all very nice, but a disable option is really necessary

    In Persian language we can remove some spaces or stick some words together without losing the mean of whole sentences
