  1. Make messages more selectable for copy/paste

    With google translate services in Android M, it would be great to be able to highlight specific words within a text and translate it.

    LOL Support is merely community opinion poll. Should have known. This just a sad shadow of real support or feedback. I don't even bother with Mozilla any more since they've gone to this same simple-minded group-opinion poll system.

  3. Ability to setup pre-defined Groups

    Android/Google used to provide functionality to create a pre-defined group consisting of contacts. Then from there you could just lookup/draft a new message to the group instead of typing in everyone you need in the thread every time you lose the thread.

  4. Update Floating Action Button shadow assets

    The floating action button looks like it uses an older version of makovastar's FAB library. If this is the case, simply updating this will fix how the shadow looks. If that's not the case, then I know it will be some amount of effort but please update the assets or even use the elevation parameters on API 21+

  9. Group SMS as per contacts

    Ability to group SMS if the sending number is grouped with others in contacts. For example my telco sends SMS from multiple numbers but they all show as separate contacts in Textra. Would be tidy if there was a switch to allow grouping.

    The in app camera is insufficient and subpar. The view is tiny and lacks the controls of androids stock application or other third party apps.

  16. "Messages" or "Conversations" in actionbar in place of " Textra

    I would love if there was an option to make the actionbar text say "Messages" instead of "Textra", it would look cleaner and more refined. Plus it would be easy to do.

    In the setting can an option but put to say "new message" as opposed to the whole actually message scrolling across the top of the phone when you receive a notification? This will make your app 100%

  18. Punctuation in the suggestion bar.

    It would be cool if the suggestion bar gave you punctuation on the top right when you hit space bar... Cooler if it recognizes questions and offers that suggestion.

  19. Option to use stock camera instead of Textra.

    The Textra camera isn't the best. No flash, zoom, etc. An option to use the default camera would be great.
