  1. To be able to put a backround in your messages.

    I want to be able to put a picture of something in my texting or just where all of your conversations are showing. It's just too plain.

  2. when I speak into textra many times my text is printed twice once when I send a message and then it appears again. How do I stop that?

  3. Clear Day Separation

    In the current system, a date, 01/01/2014, is added below a text bubble several at times during a single day. Intead, have only a single date line, 01/01/2014, regardless of the number of texts that day. This will make it easier to track texts from day to day.

  4. Backing up SMS to cloud

    An option where we can choose to backup our messages to the cloud I.e. gmail, outlook, etc like that if we switch devices or reset our devices our messages aren't lost. Maybe add a limit for free users and none for paid user?

  5. option to keep QuickReply window open

    after sending a reply, that is. As it is now, the window closes immediately after, and to send another message, one would have to either use Quick Compose, or close current app, then open full textra app to see the conversation because Quick Compose doesn't display the threaded convo (separate issue).

  6. Can we have an option to disable emojis?

    Currently you can only choose between Android or Twitter emojis.

    Can we also have the option to disable them completely?

    I personally find emojis to be annoying and would much rather see plain text instead.

  7. Have some way of backing up conversations to read on a computer at a later date.

    Give the option to export or backup your conversations. For switching phones or just to clear space on your device. So you could read the messages later on a computer or restore them to the device. Current apps don't really allow you to back up more than a couple of conversations at a time.

  9. No sound in conversation needs to be optional

    No sound in a conversation needs to be optional. We don't just stare at our phones all day waiting for the next text. I often leave the app open and walk away, waiting to be alerted, to no avail. I thus miss texts. Please fix this so adults can more effectively use your app. Tnx!!

  10. remove mike button

    I never use and don't think I will use the mike to to incude in my text messages. But I do accedently hit the mike button and the recever of text gets a empty file

  12. send/receive SMS from web browser over SAME wi-fi network, similar to WhatsApp web?

    I'd like to be able to send/receive SMS from a web browser when my mobile and PC is connected to the SAME network (Wi-Fi)

    It'd still use mobile network for sending/received text (not internet)

  18. why is it so lag, freeze and sometimes stop working?what i can do?so slow
