  2. fold split screen

    it would be awesome to have a split screen for foldable devices where the people you are texting with are in the left pane and the conversations are in the right pane. Google messages does this for a reference.

  4. Google Messages Tapback Reactions

    Textra did a good job hard-coding iMessage's tapback reactions to pin an emoji to a message rather than recieving the dreaded annoying emphasis text, but now Google Messages is taking a leap further to include their own RCS tapback reactions as well as SENDING iMessage the same annoying text that iMessage has been sending Android. For Textra to compete, this app definitely needs to incorporate their own RCS port as well as emoji reactions. I honestly might just switch over to Google Messages at this point.     I'd like to be able to react (laugh, love, thumbs up, etc.) when a picture comes in. Right now, I can only react to text.

  8. different organization of pinned texts

    I'd really like to see a different way of organizing pinned texts. A separate tab so you can still see the last message? Or just text bubbles at the top in a line and you can slide left and right when there's too many to fit?

    When you set up the phone in Android 12, you have the option of choosing bold text. This option does not come in Textra ....... and I HAVE selected "system" in the option under text in Textra!

  13. Fix Direct Share

    Please adjust direct share to show frequently texted and/or favourited contacts, instead of conversations/group chats that I haven't looked at in months, just because I never replied to them.

    Even just removing conversations that have literally been deleted from the direct share context menu would be a huge help.

    I have an idea. I've been a pro user for years. Regarding emojis, can you come up with a way to remove recently used emojis, instead of creating the cache which clears out all my settings and group IDs.

  17. Blocked massages

    In Blocklisted, urgently, two developments:

    A. Possibility to mark and delete the spam messages. Today you have to go through each spam message and delete it individually, and sometimes there are hundreds of them.

    B. Today, most messages arrive without a phone number, but with a text, please give the option to block messages by text, and not just a phone number.

  20. auto rotate pictures

    I don't know if this changed but it just seems to be painful when most of the pictures I'm trying to take are in landscape but if I start out texting in portrait like I normally do click picture then take a picture in landscape it puts it in sideways. it seems like it should auto rotate or there should at least be an option for that
