  2. option to view the the time sent and received the message..example,when u long pressed a message u can see the time it was sent and receive

    Option to view the time a message has sent and received..so that users will know if how many minutes the message takes time before it was delivered

  4. I want to be able to clear my notification bar of all the textra new message icons without marking all those unchecked texts as read!

    I'd like to be able to clear my notification bar of all the "new text message" notifications without marking all of them as read in doing so! Is there no way to keep new unchecked messages marked as unread without having to keep all their textra notification icons up in my notification bar at all times?

    I once had 6 new messages and all the textra icons were taking up all the room in my notification bar. So I cleared my notification bar like I would with any other sms apps notifications, only to find that all those new messages…

  5. On the older version of Textra new messages would move to the current position. I just downloaded the newest version and it doesn't it.

  6. option to send any type of file

    I want to send any type of file, such as sound files or ringtones, instead of only pictures. The stock app allows you to, but not Textra; it's really the only thing that is missing.

  7. Please bring back bubble heads in Quick Compose

    Previous implementation is easier because :

    • can see more contacts in one line, compared to the new list view
    • can select multiple contacts by just touching the bubble heads (faster)

  12. Return to the old new message page.

    Please make the new message prompt function as it was before, where multiple recipients could be chosen without having to tap in the send field after each recipient is selected. Thank you!

  14. Crashing a LOT Lately

    In the past few days, Textra is freezing up completely and crashing a LOT. Never used to do this. I have a Galaxy S6 Edge on Verizon, with Android 5.0.2.

  15. Android m and google keyboard

    Android M preview and google keyboard bug with textra. When you go into a SMS conversation and the keyboard pops up, the message won't show on top of the keyboard, it stays behind it and you won't see what you are typing. If you change between keyboards you can trigger it to go on top. It works on other SMS apps so its textra that needs fixing.

  16. bug: separate threads for sent and received

    Since latest update, sent and received messages to same recipient are creating separate threds. This is very annoying. Samsung S6. Otherwise great app.

    Textra is automatically sending the same old text over and over to the same person. Any fix?
