  1. group chat individual sounds

    When there's a conversation with four people, each time any one of them sends a text you're only going to hear ONE notification sound and it's the SAME sound for each person in that conversation.

    I would love for each person within one conversation to retain their individual notification sounds.

    Chomp had this ability. Please add it to Textra!

  3. Couleur fond d'écran

    Bonjour, Ne serait -il pas sympa de proposer une palette de couleurs pour le fond d'écran (comme pour les couleurs de bulles) plutôt qu'un simple choismx de couleurs blanche, noire ou griss). Mais l'application est magnifique quand-même.

    Create or guide best practice to Backup & Restore Messages after Factory Reset. Funny I see over year old messages after reloading app but huge gap. More current would be preferred but all would be best.

  7. Forward all to email automatically

    when I'm travelling overseas I don't have access to incoming texts. It would be good to have the ability to forward all texts to a specific email address. That way I won't miss any texts

  8. Use badges to indicate Flags & Unread.

    Add Flag messages, and Mark as Unread.
    Use msg badges to indicate the number of unread, leave badges blank for flagged, no badge for read msgs.

    the delete on the blocklist needs to have a yes or no confirmation. you could also remove it all together, nobody wants this feature...

    Currently , figuring out WHEN you scheduled send is going to be sent requires opening it.

    Instead, post the scheduled send TIME right under/above the "sweeping clock" icon you use.

    Alternately, make it available where the time of text is shown now: By swiping to the left.

    I think the constantly displayed "first option is MUCH BETTER, because it is there in the open (anticipatory) and won't get confused white the ACTUAL/historical send time.

  19. Triggered Send

    many times I run into a situation where, for all sorts of different reasons: schedules, meetings, underground or on a plane, asleep someone I intend to send a message or response to is unavailable or the timing would be less than idea BUT no one, not them, not me know exactly WHEN WOULD BE ideal.

    So the Textra user composes the message and INSTEAD of scheduling a send being what controls the timing of the send , the Textra user sets a TRIGGER such that (for instance) ANY/the next received message from that person immediately results in the pre-composed message…

  20. muting

    what is so stupid is when you have these icons that show future effective desired states. it makes you have to think about what you want to do. in example if I'm talking to someone and I can hear their legible audio signals that they sent a text message the icon shows a slash through it like it's muted so if I do want to mute it then it shows it normal like it's unmuted this behavior has become normal in society and is the absolute dumbest thing ever imagine all the controls in your car being that way and…
