  2. select/copy text from message

    if i get a message with a onetimepass or an address etc it would be great if i could select it and copy it...

  3. Attaching a pic to the message is problematic

    Once I select a picture, it disappears from the message and is replaced with an exclamation mark. Why does this happen?

  4. Add search and filters to blocklist

    currently if you inadvertently blocklist a text and don't know the number - it is lost in hundreds or thousands of numbers to search through. you can't filter by most recent to find it and you can't search for text or a name to find it. It's Newark impossible to locate again once blacklisted for anyone who has a long list.

    Filter capability would make it easy to sort by most recent and a search would allow you to check when you realize you aren't getting a friend's text messages and may have accidentally clicked blocklist on their number at…

  7. photo chooser still awful

    the July 10 2024 / version 4.75 update still does not fix the photo picker. we still have to tap individual tiny circles instead of anywhere on the photo thumbnail. and now the only way to not have to click "choose" is if we are immediately sending the picture. what if I want to type, schedule message, etc.? you make us have to tap the tiny circle and then tap "choose." WHY??? this is so much worse for people with disabilities. and it is frankly clunky and annoying. please revert to 1 tap to choose and long press to preview.

  10. Custom Notification Vibration Patterns

    Can you bring back the custom notification vibration patterns? 🙏 Having a different vibration pattern for Textra notifications helped me distinguish them from other notifications in loud environments when my phone was in my pocket.

  11. Leave theme color for contact the same All the time PLEASE!

    PLEASE stop auto changing the theme colors for contacts. once the color is set, it shouldn't randomly change the contact color to another color once the color is set previously.

  13. bubble more horizontal

    still could fit in 5 words across in chat bubble. why 2 words then goes down to next line. if you look at other apps messages. 5-6 across before goes to next line. 2 words makes for a long vertical bubble instead of horizontal.

  16. Retain/auto delete policy for Blocklisted texts

    Add feature that allows the user to set a retention period duration (e.g., 2 weeks, or 2 days, whatever) for Blocklisted texts so the app autodeletes any and all Blocklisted texts whose age exceeds the policy setting.
