  1. Auto reply

    Having auto reply when driving or unavailable would be great, allowing it to be setup to automatically detect when connected to your Bluetooth in your vehicle and turn on or when in a meeting turn on manually. Verizon message+ has this built-in and it works great. Adding this to Textra would make it the best and safest texting app.

  3. Option to not have emojis available

    Add None to the emoji options, at least on the input side. I do not use them and removing them as an input option reduces clutter.

  5. option to auto-remove metadata from photos

    system should have basic ability to strip all metadata from a file, or better still, options by type of data (location, file created/modified dates, camera type if a photo etc. set it to permit always, or per send where it prompts for the attachment, controlled via settings

    I have seen this posted so much on here. And nothing has happened or come of it and no replies made. I constantly get harassed by scammers sending messages from the @ and it's driving me nuts we have to figure out some way to block that from sending us messages.   11. block group messages I've deleted

    usually as the recipient of a large 10+ recipients' group messages, that first message is the ONLY one of interest. everybody on the message seems obligated to reply or add slightly- or un-related comments. this has at times continued a full day! please, if I delete a group message anytime in the thread, can you just dump follow-on nonsense replies? the continual message notifications drive me nearly as nuts as the inane content of some of those "oh, me too!" comments.

  13. stop * blocking offensive words

    in this app, and this app only, my offensive words from voice to text are covered by asterisks. I'm using Gboard like all of my other apps, yet this is the only one that does it. it is seriously annoying enough for me to switch apps at this point.

  15. Set default color for new conversations and shortcodes

    Hello, it would be great if we could set the default color for messages in:

    • new conversations
    • new conversations from unknown numbers (not in contacts)
    • new conversations from shortcodes (usually automated notifications, 2fa, etc)

    And also a function to set the color of all existing conversations of the above types.

    For example: my wife is the only one who should have a pink conversation theme, but I am constantly getting new conversations showing up pink.

    when a group message goes out and a single person now has changed their number so the person is requesting to get out of the group chat. I want to button to delete just that person from the group without setting a new group

    currently unable to delete a message currently looking at. need to go back to main feed and delete. also if it's a notification. I need to open the program select the msg, then delete. please make it a better user experience
