  2. Custom vibrations

    My phone has the ability to customize the vibration pattern for incoming calls. Can this feature be added to customize the vibration pattern of incoming text messages?

    After I've managed a bubble, Textra should handle subsequent bubbles from the same person or group the same way.

  4. swipe to dismiss bubble

    The bubble feature is innovative, but cumbersome. I wish I could just swipe a bubble to the side to dismiss it.

  6. Date formatting

    Hi, I live in Australia, our date format is DD/MM/YY. Date format for messages doesn't seem to be changeable from MM/DD/YY Can we have the date format changeable please?

  8. enter button

    please let the enter button be to start a new paragraph and not a duplicate send button.
    Better yet, add a return button like the one on the screen I am using to type this message.
    Then add a send button as was in your earlier versions.

    Allow us to have an option to set if we even want a vibration for incoming messages or not. Personally, I don't want them.

  10. Show full notification on lock screen when app is open

    If Textra is viewing a thread, and then the phone locks,band then I get a text, the lock screen shows no banner notification and upon unlocking. This makes it easy to miss notifications. So, please generate a banner notification for the lock screen even if the app is showing a thread.

    Instead of opening up a chat and having to scroll back to see what was said... Start from the last text you seen and scroll down to the most recent.

  13. Block notifications based on SIM

    for dual SIM phones it would be great to be able to block notifications based on the destination SIM.

    for instance, if I have a second SIM - only for data - I would like to ignore all SMS's received on that SIM.

    additionally, I can see a schedule being useful for people that have a work/personal dual SIM setup.

  14. New feature ideas

    1. Allow dividing messages by group. Thus, users can divide groups for family, work, bank... very convenient.

    2. The button to choose to send messages with sim 1 or 2 should be larger and allow to choose different colors (or include different styles such as squares, circles, etc.) to make it easier for users to recognize.

    3. The settings section has an option to send messages with the default sim to different groups of contacts. For example, the default sim to send messages to my family is 1, the default sim to send messages to the work group is 2, always asking if…

    When in a text thread conversation, I want to add a note to a message sent or received but don't want the other party to see my note.

  16. Better Filtering

    It would be nice if the SMS could be run in whitelist mode where messages not in the whitelist get sent to a special "Everyone Else" area and iconic notifications are NOT triggered (unless set up that way in prefs). Contacts are automatically part of the whitelist (unless removed from there), as woul be anyone else manually added.

  17. More notification icon options

    Can y'all expand the notification icon pack? I'd just love more variety! Common items like hammers, hearts, and clovers would be cool.

    My normal text messages I have groups at the top so I can put all my family in 1 group then work people in another. It's so helpful!

  19. sms backup, sms mail.

    Добрый день. хотелось бы иметь возможность выгрузить все сообщения на почтовый сервер. так же очень удобно иметь возможность получать сообщения и сразу синхронизировать их с почтой. ( например можно указать в какую папку скачивать или какую метку письмам добавить.

  20. Option to hide contact photos from main menu

    I suggest adding an option to hide the pictures for each contact in the main menu, either removing any icon/picture entirely or replacing them with initials. This feature would help create a more minimalist look.
