  2. Sync should NOT delete your chat history

    I am traveling abroad and textra starts a new conversation thread for incoming messages, instead of using the existing conversation history. I found a solution to use the resync function in textras settings > about. Textra DELETED the old threads and kept the new threads with only a few messages. All the conversations, all the pictures, all the history, GONE. I am so sad right now. There was no warning.   3. mute notifications of people who send you multiple sentences in individual texts in rapid succession

    where they separate each sentence into its own text and you get five or six notifications in a row. It's pretty annoying, I would love some kind of feature that would maybe mute successive notifications from the same contact within say 30 seconds.

  4. Filter Conversations

    I'd love to have more control over sorting and filtering all the conversation threads. Specifically, I'd love to have a way to filter my conversations by whether or not I sent the last text. (So often I read a message then forget to respond because the conversation gets buried under newer conversations. It'd be so nice to quickly parse out the conversations between whether the convo is waiting on me or them.) I find the static newest-conversation-on-top isn't always very useful.

    This should be an option in the drop down.
    I have to look for it every time.
    It is odd to have to go to About.
    That is usually just the basic App information

    MUST be able to report spam/scam messages easily. This is a SERIOUS problem with Textra not being able to report these.

    There should be a way to change the scheduled time for sending a message if you change your mind & want to send it now.

    It'd be nice if there was a way to mark messages as read, or some form of spam filter for messages that I don't want to read.
    I've gotten a ton of political texts this fall, and it would be nice to have a way to ignore those and still get the messages I care about.

  17. Need option to Delete AND Block

    Messages sent to the Blocklist aren't deleted, if I'm using a sync program to read/send messages on my PC (I use Win11 Phone Link) I still see block- listed messages unless I unblock and delete on my phone - so I keep receiving messages from unwanted numbers. Please add the option to Delete & Block on a single action.

  19. Move the choose SIM button away from the bottom bar

    it's too close to the send button. I've had a couple of times where I accidentally sent SMS messages through the wrong provider. Please move that button away from the bottom bar.

  20. Favorites list in New Text

    The next text message lists my favorite contacts at the top, but displays all of their phone numbers (Mobile, Home, Work). I would like this to only show the Mobile numbers. I have 6 favorite people, but shows 11 rows in the favorites list.
