  1. Send 'verification code' texts to a folder.

    It would be awesome for all 'verification code' texts to be in one place, reducing the clutter of one's text threads significantly.

  6. Read Notice

    Really would like to be able to see when someone read my messages.

    This is a nice feature that Hangouts use to have before going to Google Chat.

    Also being able to see if someone is replying to your message by showing ...... that would indicate they typing something back to you.
    But really would like to know when someone reads my messages

    Thanks Love this app except now it is giving me Major problems by duplicating messages. I have everyone of my older messages showing 3 or 4 entries for everything

  7. Duplicates

    Really need away to clean up messages that start duplicating within the message. I currently have a back up that has over 1.5gb of data because every entry is in every message 3 or 4 times. I have tried restoring a old backup but it just adds more entries.
    Need away to stop this or away delete duplicate entries in a message

    Please add feature for sending scheduled sms at recurring intervals likely hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and custom, etc

  14. Sticky notifications

    Make notifications sticky so they don't get cleared on accident and missed. Can mark as read from notification bar to dismiss the notification. Maybe could be set per conversation (so you don't miss an important message from your boss or accidentally ignore your mom!)

  15. Only notify for reactions/likes to texts sent by you

    Another user proposed turning off notifications for reactions/likes, which would be great. this suggestion is for an option to only be notified when someone reacts/likes a text sent by you, not receiving notifications for reactions/likes for everyone in your text chain.

    option to bookmark and view all bookmarked messages. This way I can easily see saved messages without having to pin them

  17. App for Chromebook

    It would be awesome if you could get this app on a Chromebook! I know Google owns the Chromebook but their messaging app is subpar to Textra in my opinion 😁 But the ease of texting from my laptops is very useful, especially when I'm working. In the meantime, I change my message app to Google but that's not as good.

  18. More Reactions

    I think it would be pretty cool if we could use more reactions, possibly even choose from the normal emoji list, rather than only being able to use the very few Textra allows us to at the moment. It'd also be a lot more convenient to choose from the full list of emojis.

  19. Allow us to mark individual messages 'read'

    If I wait to read my messages, they do not always mark as 'read' when I click on them, even if I stay in the screen for awhile. I would like to mark them as 'read'. I would also like to flag certain messages for response by marking them as 'unread' or when I clicked but didn't have time to read them properly. Please add this!

  20. Let me send text messages to an email address

    Every other app I've used allows me to send short messages to and from an email account. Can we please add this functionality? I am not allowed to use my phone at work but I could send short email messages to my partner's texts before changing to Textra and he could reply.
