  1. Audio Snippet

    I was wondering if you could add the ability to send audio via textra. It could on the same line as the '+' to show the option say a mic image and you press it to start and a stop and play button.

  2. Home screen blank space

    The home screen that shows your conversations is too full and busy, I'd love to be able to move all conversations down and either include a search box, a help and a settings icon, or something so only half of the screen is text rather than all of it. Similar to the way Samsung Messages or Google Messages does it. It's very overwhelming seeing all my conversations at once.

  3. Integration with Tasker or MacroDroid

    I use MacroDroid and Tasker to automate a lot of things on my phone. You can create rules so that IF something happens (e.g. day = Monday and time = 10:00am), THEN do something (e.g. turn on wifi, turn on bluetooth, etc).

    At my job, I often get text messages or calls for certain IT related issues. Often times, I don't care about them and just block the calls and mute the messages. However, if I'm oncall for that particular week, then I am responsible for fixing those issues and therefore I need to look at the text messages and…

  4. How to change/personalize with a downloaded song not in the options

    When I had my A51 I had my husband/daughter/&son's phone & text (using Textra) notification sounds set to the Ohio State Fight Song (they are all alumni) - everyone else's is okay to be one of the preprogrammed notification options on the phone. I figured out to add the song as their ringtones. But I am having difficulty being able to figure out how to put the OSU Fight Song into the text sound options menu... It is a free download on The Ohio State University athletic department's website. It is available to be downloaded in 3 forms.

  7. Filter SMS by SIM1 and SIM2

    App should be able to filter SMS by SIM, this feature can be added. As the user may need to check SMS on sim1 or sim2 only, this feature may help the user to locate the SMS on a particular SIM, or the user may want to see SMS on only one SIM.

    this is more a suggestion to "bessermachen" than a new idea.
    often when i will send an sms the receiver isn't available, neither by name nor number.
    but of course when i go to my contacts the person is there - and from there i can send the sms.

  10. SMS Group

    I want to be able to add and remove contact from a group after the group has been created, currently it's not possible, I will have to either group a new group and don't include the person, whereas if this feature is available, it'll be awesome for me. I don't a lot of bulk sms

  11. Mass select conversations and select as you scroll

    I think it'd be a nice feature if, once you're in "delete conversation mode", as you scroll up, it selects conversations for you. I don't want to delete all conversations and doing one by one is a lot.

  14. Make swipe right back function optional

    In an individual contact's conversation, swiping right returns you to the master list of all constrains. This can be done accidental when scrolling through months of texts. That wastes time and you have to enter the contact's texts and start again. The Android back gesture or button achieves the same result, so can this not be made optional?

  15. Copying individual words/sentances from text messages

    Hi, would love the ability to hold down and highlight specific words, phone numbers, etc from inbound text messages.
    At present, holding down on a word (which elsewhere in Android and on apple devices will highlight that word and allow users to drag the box to highlight specific words/numbers) results in the whole message being highlighted and to copy just a single part, the whole thing has to be copied, pasted, and then highlighted in the needed words.
    Hopefully this default action can be added
