Instead of blocking each individual message it would be great to lock the entire conversations or the person so you don't accidentally erase them

Not delete in stock messaging app
I wish that upon deleting conversations/messages in Textra that it would leave the copy it put on your phones stock messaging app. Then you have a chance at opening the stock app and having a copy of conversations there if you deleted in Textra !!

Forward text from another conversation
Seems like the FORWARD option disappeared in one of the last upgrades..and I see people asking about it. I miss it too! Was a lot easier than long pressing and copying/paste to person you want to share with!

Deleted messages sms
Is there any way to retrieve deleted text messages? I read online there's ways but sort of complicated. Can you give the option of like 2 step verification asking if we want to delete in Textra? Sometimes I go through and clean out too fast thinking I had the stuff backed up..

Completely Delete
Ability to completely delete a text, leaving no history. This would work for both single user and group chats.

Backup to include scheduled texts
This may be technically difficult or impossible, but whenever I use SMS Backup and Restore to transfer my texts or recover from a loss, the as-yet-unsent scheduled texts are lost, i.e. not included in the backup and restore. I am posting the same query to SMS Backup and Restore software developers. Ben K

Please can you add the ability to quickly search for an emoji - for example: search for 'birthday', 'sad' or 'dog' rather than having to scroll through them all

auto-replies
it would be pretty cool to see an auto replies setting where you can enable auto reply but exempt certain people from it

Themes
It would be nice to have permanent themes. Pride themes, where the colors change with the Rainbow. Halloween themes, where bubbles have spider webs or black cats. Tie Dye, Glitter, Earth Day, Etc...some of us celebrate things all year long.

Upgrade to PRO without play store
I don't use Google Play Store but I wanted to upgrade textra. Please add an option to purchase using an external link.

select all messages
there's a feature on most sms apps where you can long press on one person in the Convo list and then an icon for "select all" so you can bulk delete, or archive, etc. that is so handy. especially these days with how much spam comes in texts. it'd be an awesome feature to add!

Android 11 - Notification Settings General
Textra general notification settings.
In Textra Settings > Customize Notifications > Press on the word Android Settings > (Advanced) Sound > Ringtone.
Per contact notification settings.
Long hold on any contact in the conversation list screen > dotdotdot (top right) > Customize > Notifications > Press on the word Android Settings > (Advanced) Sound > Ringtone.
