  1. pin convo/contact to top of message list

    it would be really nice if I could have certain text messages with certain contacts be "pinned" to the top when I opened the app. right now, convos are arranged by date.

    double tap or drag on a message will put that message into quotes as the beginning of the currently drafted text message ( like WhatsApp )

    easily tag messages with a star and then see all starred messages for a contact ( like WhatsApp )

  6. Samsung OneUI Icon.

    An icon that is Samsung compatible with its design. The grey border forces me to use a new dash with custom icons. By default the stock icon doesn't match the default Samsung icon theme. Would pay for the app again just to fix that visual issue.

  9. Notification button to copy Authentication code from message

    When an authentication code is received via SMS, show an action button in the notification ( next to "reply to ..." button) that says "copy code". Clicking the button copies just the authentication code to the clipboard. Doesn't have to work for all formats of messages at first, but would be a really powerful feature.

    option to add notecommentstatus for each message. to be able to know which message is closed and which is still open issue. now you must delete the closed issue messages in order to track it.

    on message+ from Verizon when sending a text to a group of people you can choose right in the text whether they respond to the whole group or just to you, instead of having to do it in settings. such a nice feature!

  14. Don't repeat whole text when "Liked" by iOS.

    I don't want this clean and minimal texting app to get more complicated or more like iPhone. There are plenty of chat and message apps for that. But if iPhones keep echoing the whole text back when they Like or Love it, please make a setting to turn that off and just say "Liked your text"

  15. Preview captured photos

    The capture of lightweight photos in the app is great !
    But please add the ability to preview it before sending. We can't even know if it's blurred before the message is sent.
    Also an option to save them automatically would be good.

  17. text messages. only sent to contacts mobile number

    a way to block a land line from being picked for a group text message. issue, contact has multiple phones, when picked for a group message, Textra tries to send to all numbers. Need a way to block land lines from being included.

  19. Texting sound

    We can change the sound it makes when we are typing. I don't really like the 'Typewriter' option and wish it made more of a lubed machanical keyboard sound that's not super clicky/annoying.

  20. block texts with keywords

    I'm up to about 10 different phone numbers a day suggesting that I donate to different political parties. It's obvious fraud. they always say about the same thing. since I know that I won't be texting back and forth using certain key words with people, it would be slick if I could have an incoming text message block for unknown people that have certain keywords in it. this way my phone doesn't beep and vibrate 10 times randomly through my work day. would rather keep text to people I care to hear from.
