  1. IMessage reactions equivalent

    When I'm texting iPhone users, a lot of times I'll receive messages like Liked "[message I sent]" or Laughed at "[message I sent]". I wish I could use similar responses (maybe even more than what they have).

  2. On my Samsung A51 there is not setting for Textra Group Texting and I am unable to send a group text. . . . not happy.

  7. Message read indicator

    would be great to have the ability to know if someone has actually seen/read your message. Not a 'read receipt' where the receiver has to give permission though. Gotta say though,Textra totally rocks- thanks heaps for a sensational messaging app.

    add colour choice for Line1 and Line2 (red, blue, green, etc) before sending msg,..
    Also add privacy for msg to be hidden , fingerprint will allow hiding of msg and no one can easily detect if some msg are hidden in

    Rather than doing all reactions to text messages like in IOS, maybe just a double-tap to ❤ a message, and only when a message is between you and one other person (reactions in Group messaging is painful).

  11. Quick tap call icon.

    Once you open the text message, have an option to tap the text and open the same menu that holds the forward, trash, copy, info. Place a phone icon so you can quickly call the person from that menu versus going up to the top of the screen and opening an additional submenu.

    The one thing that would make this texting app the best of all is a reply when driving. also being able to customize your reply. why isn't this available on your app yet.

  13. Allow complete block of msgs

    Allow the user to set msgs to keep to zero on blocked senders. Maybe it makes sense to have the minimum to 25 for unblocked, but maybe the user may want to block ALL msgs from a sender and have no way to see that sender's msgs.

  14. Collapse & expand pinned messages

    Pinned messages are great for finding the most common conversations. But if more than just a couple are used, they can take a lot of real estate on the main screen. can the pinned messages section at the top be collapsed, with a new message indicator if appropriate? Then expand it to see your pinned messages.

    when you open Textra, you get the list of all chats. at the right or near the name I want the number of all messages that are in each chat.

  17. BASIC PHOTO EDITOR

    With so many screenshots being shared, it's nice to be able to crop out superfluous information.

    I would LOVE a basic crop-tool when I go to send a pic; just a little pencil, top right, where I can crop a pic - extra points if it has a colour filter, and a censor bar!

    (Twitter has a great lil in-app editor; for inspo)

    i like the option to change theme to any color i want, however looking texts hurts my eyes because everything is so saturates no matter what color i choose. turning brightness down helped a little but there should be a vibrancy option

    kindly give option to bring down the messages till mid page as in Samsung default messaging app. its very hard to reach the top message by thumb when using from single hand
