  2. Group/Mass Blocking

    I want to be able to block all numbers from a specific area code. Very useful against spammers that use spoof numbers. I would also like to block all spammers from a specific internet domain, for example hotmail.com and blogspot.com. I am constantly receiving porn solicitations drop both of these domains, ie... rdfgrht@blogspot.com; sophiasfun@hotmail.com. I really love the Textra app, except for those issues.

  4. Blocklist numbers shouldn't show up in recent contacts.

    Blocklisting someone should hide that number/name/contact from the entire app.

    It would ESPECIALLY be nice if you couldn't even send texts to blocked numbers. Even if you manually enter it.

    on phones that hold 2 sim cards the sim symbol could do with being a different colour for each sim to make it easier to see what sim you are using

  9. Setting to disable swipe to delete

    After accidentally deleting a critical thread dealing with the Android "Textra is sending a large number of SMS messages..." Textra deleted the thread. I want to have to CONFIRM deletion. Please make that an option.

  10. colors for date and time of messages

    As I get older it becomes harder to read low contrast text, such as your light gray on black for date and times of messages. it would be nice to be able to set the colors of the dates and time to something with better contrast.

    just add a simple toggle in the app icon color picker to make it automatically match the color that the system theme is. I'm sure 99% who change the theme color choose the same for the app icon also; so it would greatly help with that

  16. "SMS businesses" folder, like Messenger

    Facebook Messenger has an SMS businesses folder that groups all the verification code messages, alerts from businesses, carrier reminders, etc.. away from all your chats with real people. I'd love to see something like this come to Textra.

    either allow right swipe to immediately delete or only require one press of the trashcan to delete, 2 is quite excessive and unnecessary since that already has 2 actions to delete

  19. Textra needs to work with Android's new Work and Personal Area feature

    Google and enterprise companies who look to separate work and personal data on the phone have/are release work vs personal area's - this allows apps to be explicitly work or personal. Textra currently only picks up the Personal contacts and not the Work Contacts (again same contact app just segmented be data area).

  20. Reinstate "unread message" notification icons after phone restart or app upgrade

    If I have unread messages that I haven't seen and Textra gets upgraded to a new version or my phone restarts, the notifications for those messages go away and do not come back. I often miss messages for hours to days because I don't go into Textra to look to look for messages unless there are notifications that I have some unread. There are other apps (Google voice is a good example) that reinstate their "unread messages" notifications after a phone restart. I would like to see Textra do this as well.
