    It would be great if we could change the name of the contact inside the chat, without changing the name of the contact itself.
    You could add a function like on ios, something like "always prefer nicknames if the contact has one" or let the possibility of changing the name on a chat like in fb messenger

  11. Swipe settings

    Hello,
    I'd love to be able to adjust settings related to whether I swipe left or right on a message conversation.
    For example; I almost never delete a complete conversation, so having that as default right-swipe is a wasted swipe opportunity for me. I personally would prefer to be able to archive the conversation instead with that right-swipe, for example.
    Without having put much thought to it; these are a few possible alternatives for the swipe settings;
    * Block sender
    * Archive conversation
    * Web search the sender's number
    * Individual mute message sounds for that conversation for maybe 1h.…

    Since most versions of iOS aren't receiving WebP file types, there should be a MMS setting to choose sending as PNG or WebP.

    unless I'm missing something, Textra doesn't seem to be supported by bubbles in the new Android 11. If it's not already in the works, I'd be interested in having this feature.
