    It would be great if I could save contacts into groups and save for later. ie. "techies":gert, bear, sose
    so that if I type "techies"... all contacts under "techies" would appear. I wouldn't have to type all their names again.

  9. Tapback options are in dire need of more options

    On any other text app, the tapback options are unlimited. For many, many years now, Textra has always been the 1st app that goes on any new device but my grands keep giving me a really hard time about the severely limited availability of tapbacks I have. I have more grandkids than the number of tapbacks we have! Please, please address this issue. It's the only thing I've ever come across that I really need, but it's not on Textra.

  10. Use the nickname for contacts if it's filled out.

    Modern contacts apps include a nickname field for contacts. I suggest using that if it is filled out.

  12. Provide ability to filter

    For years I used PULSE SMS. I was able to filter for unread messages and found it to be extremely useful. This, along with marking a message as unread helped me to respond /remind myself of appointments (doctors, etc.).

    Be able to organize and sort your contacts - not just by who texted you last! Maybe you can sort alphabetically, by favorite contacts, and single vs group texts.

  15. Enlarge Screen with Fingers for Easier Viewing when Needed

    Finger pinching on messages for a quick enlarging view when needed for text and emojis. Google Messages has this feature. Nicer than changing settings to larger fonts when they are not always needed.

    Your note taker is good.
    But..... I can't see a way to come back and add to it.

    This will keep the number of separate notes to minimum.
