  3. Mark conversation as read or unread

    I sometimes open messages and intend to respond at a later day, but I forget. I would love to be able to select a specific chat and mark it as unread so the notification comes back. I would also love to be able to mark a conversation as read, as sometimes opening a conversation doesn't do so.

    Good morning, you can only leave a limited pick of emojis on messages as a response please allow us to broaden that to any emoji and we aren't able to like just a picture that comes through text. Please allow us to be able to do that as well.

  6. Hide messages and photos in a conversation

    The ability to hide messages and pictures in a conversation without deleting them. Sometimes you may receive a sensitive or NSFW message that you don't want other people to be able to read or see. The message would be hidden till selected but not deleted

  7. Blocklist Filter/Search Engine

    After blocking a number, sometimes it was an accident and the phone number is not easily recognized. Can we please have a search bar or a set of filters that allow us to find accidentally blocked numbers or groups of numbers quickly?

    By sliding on the right panel, one can see permanently hour:min of sent messages => add same system to incoming messages would be so useful!

  9. Dual Sim - Dual Notifications

    It would be great if I could choose a different notification sound for each Sim, when using a dual Sim phone. It's irritating not being able to have different sounds for each of the sims. Being stuck with default notification sound for both sims is painful. Please update to allow this functionality.

  10. open message once

    When I open Textra, new messages are highlighted. When I open them and close them and close Textra, the next time I open Textra the message is highlighted again. Once it's opened it should never be highlighted again.

    Could we have an option or setting for forwarding text messages. When I forward a text to someone else and it is sent, either:

    • go back to the original recipient (currently this is how it's done)

    • go to the new recipient

    please make it so we can define groups within the app. Most other message programs allow this, and having to define them through contacts is cumbersome, and difficult when you manage your contacts through other servers and not on the phone.

  20. reactions to text messages

    I noticed that I'm not able to react to somebody's text. on an apple phone, you're able to press like or heart or laugh emojis as a reaction. on certain Android phones you can do that now too. but I don't think you can do it through textra, are you planning to enable that soon?
