    allow us to be able to customize and add our own pictures for backgrounds/ wallpaper on the main text screen and on the backgrounds/ wallpaper of individual contacts that we are texting.

  6. Bubble size/width option

    Hi, I'm new to Textra, coming from Verizon Message+ being shutdown. The message bubbles/dialog boxes are SO narrow! A medium length text is extremely stretched out. There is more screen outside the bubble than the bubble itself. Hope that makes sense.

    I hate Google Messages but even theirs are much wider, and Textra is FAR superior otherwise.

    Help request by Pro member. Too many texts received from numbers Not in my contacts list. Need to stop. I have selected option to stop texts from other than contacts.

  8. Contact is typing a message

    When engaged in a back and forth conversation it would be nice to see an indicator that the other party is typing. it's something Messages+ and Google messages had. Very convenient actually.

  9. Mark message as Read from notification

    I'm coming from the Verizon SMS app. One of the features I really liked on that app was the ability to mark a message as 'Read' from the drop down notifications options. The new message was marked as Read and the new notification icon would disappear without having to open the app to clear the notification. It's really helpful for someone who receives lots of messages and completely opening the app is not needed for every single text.

  10. Name the number

    I have seen on a popular search engine (Top one) where you can type in a phone number and it's supposed to be able to find the individual or company that owns the phone number. The one that I saw said it's free until you enter some information, then it asks for money. I don't know if this idea is possible because I've never trusted putting my credit card information into something that said it's free until after I have already started filling in information. But if it is possible, I think having that as an option on a texting…

    I frequently sit late and prepare for tomorrow...this means I make texts that I don't want to send at 11pm. leave unsent texts at the top of my text list. I thought Texts did this already but am not having the same experience as I did a few months ago.

    an additional feature would be to leave those at the top (most recent) texts is those who's texts failed and I thought we areas w bad cell or Wi-Fi.

  17. Mute Reaction Notifications

    Every group message is one meaningful text followed by several "John liked this, Katie loved this" etc. I don't mind seeing the reactions in the message thread but I'm tired of my phone going off with endless notifications about emoji reactions. I would like to see the option to mute those specifically without muting the entire conversation.

    Have swiping to call/delete on a feed optional. It's annoying and I don't want to accidentally call someone, nor unintentionally delete a whole message feed.

  20. A feature that work let you block texts that contain a certain word or phrase.

    I don't feel comfortable blocking all texts that aren't from people on my contact list. Some of the people that may send me a message: my doctor's office unknown extension, a utility company, a sweepstakes that I entered, a friend trying to contact me, having to use another phone, etc.
    But, what I don't want are the endless political texts. I'd like to block any message that contains the words.. Trump, Kamala, Cruz, donation, Republican, Democrat, etc. If I could block texts containing those, you could send them to lala land, for all I care, as long as they don't…
