  1. Google Now Launcher

    I use the Google Now Launcher for organizing my apps and home screen. It works well except for the fact that Textra doesn't display the existence of unread messages. If you miss a notification, the only way to know you have an unread text is to open the app manually.

  2. Match Notification Colors to Contacts

    It would be nice to see an option to have each contact's notification icon automatically change to match my SMS/MMS thread with them in the app. I appreciate that you are able to manually change this setting, especially on a person-to-person basis, but it's a bit obnoxious to have to manually choose the color for every person. I would suggest making it an optional toggle in the settings, as some people don't like to have a rainbow-colored notification bar

    Amazing features. My favorite feature would be the one that enables me to customize my conversations to my liking. Would definitely recommend the app.

    Suggestions:
    -Disable the vibrate when messages don't send (this can be quite annoying tbh)

    -Allow an option that makes it possible that messages that didn't sent be continuously try to be sent without clicking "resend" a lot of times. Like a "Keep Resending" option

    -In allowing Textra to customize the colors of the conversation, a "Reshuffle colors" option would be nice.

  6. Add New Contacts to an existing conversation

    I am unable to add a new contact to an existing conversation. i read through your knowledge base and found an article on how to do this. But the option doesn't seem to be there. I can share as an email or blacklist from the dotdotdot at the top. On the individuals, I can see their information, text or call them. But nothing for adding a new contact.

    Like the normal s8 messages, the edge lights up around it when someone texts you. DO THIS!!!

    I suggest for Textra Team to remove or block the ads for free even for those who are not using the pro version, it will be much better for all. Thank you.

  9. Location Sharing

    location sharing is much needed because sometimes at emergency times you may not find the exact address. it is needed for this app and especially for this app which is far more Superior then the stock messaging version of the Android. quite frankly this is far more Superior than any SMS app I've ever seen so please please location sharing

  10. When schedule a message, automatically change date today tomorrow

    When I schedule a message, I don't change the date, if the hours is passed, it is sent directly.
    It would be nice if in this case, the date change automatically to tomorrow

  11. Apple "liked" spam

    I'd LOVE an option to block the texts when an apple user "likes" a text someone sends. I'm in a group text with 7 Apple users and the like spam is ridiculous!

  12. gray primary theme

    The choices of gray themes on Textra are not pure gray. They are brown/gray or a version of blue/gray. in would like a more traditional silver gray color to match my Midnight theme Swype keyboard. I know this is petty, but it would improve the look.

  19. Slightly tint the background on the pinned contacts

    Hey guys, love the app.. paid for it a long ass time ago and been using it feels like forever now, so thank you for all your hard work!

    I love the ability to pin contacts to the top because I'm always texting my employees out in the field and it's nice that they are always at the top. What would be great is if we could tint the background of the pinned contacts slightly lighter or darker (depending on the theme?)
