  6. Database question?

    Question more than idea, don't readily see where else to post. Have Textra installed to evaluate then used another SMS (Pulse) to evaluate as well. In Pulse somehow conversations w/ Wife prior to last Friday disappeared however I still see them in Textra. Assuming they were just missing in Pulse I ran SMS Backup but they're still missing when viewing database conversations. Now I see on this forum Textra may have it's own database. How do I backup Textra DB to preserve these messages? Left Pulse as default SMS concerned changing to Textra might somehow lose data not knowing how…

  7. Forward sms and mms to Google voice option

    So i can receive all my messages on all devices including WiFi only tablets, also a receive SMS and mms from Google voice so I can keep using Textra on all my devices.

  8. reminder alarm setup for a message

    I quite often need to take action on a message real soon. example - my spouse asks if I already paid the mortgage for current month. I should be able to setup alarm on that message for a date and time.

    I think it would be cool for the background of the messages to be 3 dimensional. the background is a plane solid color but 3d effects would make the texting experience a little more enjoyable.

  12. Android auto sending bug

    Getting the message "the app needs to be installed or updated" whenever I try to reply to a textra SMS through Android auto. Seems like others are experiencing this as well.

  13. Customizable options where messages are shown from each contact.

    Would like customizable options for the front messaging screen, the very first screen you see when you open textra where it shows all your messages from each contact. Would like font options (size/color) for contact names and option for lines in between each message on the front screen that separates them. Also inside each message is there an option to change time stamp size and color?

  18. Combine conversations from same contacts that are split due to international roaming

    Every time I travel internationally, Textra generates a new thread. I'm guessing this is due to the various prefixes needed to send the SMS / MMS.

    A quick fix may be to combine the conversations based on the last xx digits of the number, ignoring the prefix?

  20. Hide preview when locked, show previews when unlocked

    I like having my text previews hidden when my phone is locked because I leave my phone on my desk at work. But when it's unlocked, it's usually in my hand so I would like to be able to see text previews without having to open the notification/app.
