  1. Option to open full app when clicking on notification.

    When I tap on a notification to read and reply to a text, I expect to open the full messaging app at the conversation. The limited seperate app that opens up is not something I ever want to use.
    Please add the option to just open the full app always.

  2. Better out of service SMS handling.

    Currently, if you are out of service or offline and get sent multiple SMS messages, the only chance you have to download them is tapping the notification. If that fails to download the messages, that's it. They're gone.
    A placeholder message from the sender with the option to download and maybe retry would be a better solution.
    Even better if it can keep track of the timestamps and figure out how to put the missed messages in time order for group conversations.

  3. List message view option instead of bubbles.

    As popular as comic style conversation bubbles are, I loved that my last messaging app had a list view option. I find it easier to read and view more messages per screen-space.

  4. Keep less than 25 messages.

    For verification code texts, it would be nice to keep only one.

  6. replying to specific message in a chat

    hi. I was hoping that a feature could be added to reply to a specific message in a chat like u can in apps like WhatsApp. now when an apple user replies specifically to a message in a group chat it just shows up as xyz replied to a message as a separate text without specifying what message they are replying to

  13. Text space

    When entering or receiving texts, it only shows up in the middle half of the text box after sending or receiving a text. Therefore, the length of the text in the individual text box is at least twice as long as it needs to be. Please make use of the entire width of the text box.

    With Apple they can edit the message after it is sent! This would be cool to have and a way so that it doesn't show up as ___ edited "..." to "...."

    The app breaks up words on its own instead of automati
    c sweep to the nex
    t line of the entire word. For example, a word that is too lon
    g for the line will look l
    ike this.

    Funny, it is working on this idea text box, but not in the app...I had to purposely break up the words to exemplify the issue here.

    As a tradesman i use my phone to send messages to clients almost every day to every other client so i need a function that would make it easier for me to send messages quickly without the contacts that i have in my phone. i mean a quick text message where i can enter a phone number and message without the contacts and numbers that i have in my phone appearing.

    a lot of my inbox is texts from automated services like doordash or security codes
