  1. Drop down notification, pull down preview for more info

    When on screen (not in textra app), and get a notification up at the top, would be nice to be able to pull that preview down to get more than just one line of text. Kind of like stock Messenger app.

  2. swipe right delete inside sender thread now missing ???

    Swipe right to show option to delete specific sender messages within sender thread now missing. That was nice feature. Now swipe right return to main screen. Swipe left shows date like always.

  8. Implement Deleted Folder which is already common, so a must have standard among all msg apps alike

    Hi, recently dwnl 3-4 msg apps, one of which had feature that gave you an OPTION to decide if you want deleted texts to go to a folder so you don't lose them. (may be Goo Allo, or Dasher, but hoping it's you!) I deleted a text and would like to know if you can recover it, or if you could please implement a deleted FOLDER like many other apps offer, and like all emails do. It's a very common feature that should with common sense be already implemented in msg apps (text/email/chat/DM/etc). There is no reason not to, because…

    That would be great if an icon exist in message list on avatar to see where the message Come from sim one or Two. Or such another theme or layout to identify that.

  11. The status bar notification disappears within seconds, when receiving messages for the active conversation, even if the phone is locked!

    When the screen gets locked, all the notifications for the current (active) conversation disappear very fast.
    That is the only issue I have with this app, elwhich I consider excellent and very pleasant to use.

    The stock Samsung app was only automatically clearing the notification when the screen was unlocked, and thus the message was read.

    In the latest sms app of iPhone, the sms shown in lock screen in very useful way. Full sms body can be read in the lock screen of iPhone.

    Textra sms app should develop it's lock screen sms view system like iPhone sms app or better than that.

    Make this app work with Google's automatic backup & restore so that if uninstall the app temporarily, factory reset, or move to a new phone, I don't have to manually set all the options back to how I like them.

    Recently, you added this toggle to the "customize this conversation" menu, as per community request. However, that request specifically asked for this toggle to be somewhere more easily accessible like in the text box next to the + icon.   16. Fix Comma truncating Hyperlinks

    Issue: So I'm seeing locations sent as google map locations are truncating at commas (probably any other hyperlinks with commas as well)

    Solution: Ensure that a hyperlink isn't stopping at the first comma it encounters.

  17. Allow media such as YouTube to play while quick responding

    When I quick reply while watching or listening to music on YouTube, the video automatically pauses. Using a system similar to that of messenger - a screen overlay (accessible when you click on the notification, not like a chat head.) will allow us to enjoy our music on third party applications while chatting with our friends!

  20. A toggle that will silence messages from unknown senders.

    This will come on handy when I don't want to be bothered by notifications from banks, carrier notifications or messages from unknown senders but I can still review them when I next go into my messages.
