  1. Please add a "Do not disturb" or "Silence" option

    From time to time, I will hand my phone to someone else to use to look up something, or use it for a presentation. During these times, it can sometimes be embarrassing or disrupting when personal text notifications pop up on-screen, but this feature is too hard to turn on and off.
    Please add a "Do not disturb" option to the little settings menu on the top-right. Obviously, the best implementation would be up to you; but I'm mainly looking for the quick option to suppress the on-screen text notifications and the vibrator. The badge, notification icon, and off-screen notifications…

  4. option for last name first in contacts

    maybe I haven't found it yet but it would be nice to have the option to sort contacts with last name first.

  5. Quick messages

    It would be nice if I could save some quick messages. for example, I would like to be able to say, " I will be in the 6:30 train; home by 7:20" in a message I select from a list as opposed to typing it each time

  6. Access phones Gallery folders

    I have probably a few thousand photos on my sd card, all sorted in folders in the phones Gallery.
    When I access photos to attach to a text, it just pulls up a thumbnail list of pictures - not the Gallery folders. Which can be frustrating trying to scroll through to find a particular photo.

  7. push notifications on lock screen

    when my phone is locked, the push notification still pops up and people can read my texts when my phone is locked. please fix that it's a huge privacy concern.

    There are so much emojis, and so much that I use every day, and so much that I will never use. I'd like you to add one page (like the "recently used emojis") where I can add and save the emojis I choose, so I can find them quicker. It would be awesome.

  19. Preventing Click Through When Selecting a Link

    So, I actually have two ideas.

    First is the emoji long press, where it shows a zoomed in preview. I really like that, but don't think it should automatically select it for inclusion into the message when I release. Most of the time I'm scrolling through looking for a cool one to use. When I want a closer look, 9 out of 10 times I don't want to select it and end up having to backspace to erase it.

    The second would fix something that has annoyed me since I started using Textra (which I really love, all in all).…

  20. upgrading to provide before 14 days

    idea ...enable the upgrade option right away. I can't stand the ads that pop up as I'm in the middle of typing. I don't want to deal with these ads for 10 more days. great app, closest to imessage I've used yet on android and sticking with it. thanks
