  1. Random notification sounds

    There is a 3rd party app called Random Notification Sounds, that makes your messaging app play a different sound every time you receive a text message. It chooses at random from a list of short sound files you add.

    It works pretty well with Textra, about 60% of the time. I am requesting Textra adds native support for this function.

    Textra is pretty great visually, it could be better audibly.

  2. Wyszukiwanie kontaktów bez znakow diaktrycznych

    Dzień dobry,
    Podczas wyszukiwania kontaktów byłoby wygodniej nie używać znakow diaktrycznych, tak jak to działa w książce adresowej telefonu.
    Np. zamiast wpisywać Gólczyński wystarczyłoby wpisac golczynski itp.

  4. Divide messages by groups

    Hello there,

    The new samsung UI 2.1 allow organization of message by groups (family, work, friends, etc...).

    It could be a cool feature to add.

    Thank you and keep the good work...ever since I tried Textra, I never used any other message app. 👍

  5. Punctuation

    Colons, semicolons, hyphens, and slashes, maybe more, should automatically delete spaces on one side or both. Some people actually use punctuation properly in texts.

    Please allow us to choose a background color of the app icon other than the default white, which is distracting in dark, low-contrast themes.

    improve delete functions allow user to select specific emails to keep when purging lots of texts.from a specific user. When the trash can is used specific emails cannot be kept--it is tedious

  20. Add a scroll box in long text messages to quickly find past messages.

    Sometime having to scroll through a text, especially a very long one can take forever! Adding a draggable scroll box on the right side of the window will allow us to quickly find past messages within a text, without spending minutes scrolling up to find it.
