  3. Chat Head

    I'd love to see an option for turning on a chat head, like in FB messenger. A lot of times, I see a text, but can't immediately respond. I'd like to keep the chat head up so I don't forget to reply back.

  6. text to email and reverse

    I use Textra regularly to send pictures to email, data tags hardware etc, on a regular basis because it's not properly pulling an email address from contacts I have to manually enter an email address.. it would be nice if this was just a bit cleaner.

    suggestion for spam blocking if you get a random text message from a unknown number it should be blocked completely and not reappear.

  8. MMS upgrade?

    I have several friends and family that doesn't use mobile, so I have always used MMS text to email, no problem. It works on your app, as well, but with several drawbacks. Now, I don't know if it's because I have a new phone (which is Google-centric, ugh) but when I want to send a text to them, they don't show up in my contacts list even though they're there. I have to type in the email address manually. But it works and I always receive what they send, although it shows up as their email Iinstead of their contact…

    hi

    I really like the ability to choose a specific color for a conversation. it would be helpful if the colors are numbered or have some other d sorry of identifying reference, so this way I can easily choose the right color when I want multiple contacts the same color

  11. Whitelist for audible alerts

    Only messages from contacts, or those on a WHITELIST should produce an audible alert. In drop-down options, add "add to whitelist" and "remove from whitelist".

    I generally don't want to add everyone that texts me (about my Craig's List item, for instance) to my contacts, but I would whitelist them for a week or so.

    When I am done dealing with that person, I can go to the drop-down and un-whitelist them. Also, Textra should prompt to un-whitelist that person when I delete the entire thread.

    Maybe you should make this app were you could change your background, to like a preset one, or a custom one. That is something I would love to have in this app.

  16. Please fix the delay in sending messages

    Just fix the app darn it used to be great but crashes all the time now. I have to unload and reload once a week at least. Now I can't get the time delay to work at all.

  19. longer send delays?

    i would love the option to delay text messages 30 seconds or a minute because I have Asperger's and tend to double text all the time. having it delay longer allows me to collect my thoughts and edit the post again without having to schedule it or double text.

    Also it would be helpful if send button optionally didn't also bypass the delay because it's too easy to habitually click it twice.
