  1. size of new message indication in conversation

    the size of the new message indicator in the conversation list is very small and hard to see since it's on top of different contact pictures. would like a way to change the size of that indicator and/or otherwise customize it so it's easier to see at a glance. changing the color is a nice option but doesn't do it for me.

  5. Return to message list after deleting all messages from within a conversation

    sometimes I get a text and open and read it. I then want to delete that message which then clears the conversation completely (no messages). I then have to manually back out of that empty conversation to get back to the message list. if you delete the last/only message in a conversation from within the conversation Textra should automatically return you to the message list.

  6. Nudges / Message Snooze

    A reminder to reply to a messages. Basically postponing an incoming message do you can reply at a later time with a custom time duration. Almost like a snooze button, but for messages.

  8. Better Video over text

    Most android phones suck at video over text because all phone carriers cap data amount sent. Iphone gets around this by using internet/cloud to send and download video. This would be super GREAT!

  11. Add an "X" to easily delete prior GIF search

    Currently when I want to add a GIF, the last search is still shown, which is fine, but to change and search again, I have to choose it and manually delete and then do my new one. Can you add an X at the end of the line so I can tap to easily delete the old entry? The way it works now is really cumbersome. Thanks.

  14. Feature Request - SMS Forwarding

    Hey! I have been using Textra for a bit now and love it.

    One thing that I would love to see (maybe this can be a pro-member only feature, idk) is a built-in SMS forwarder which can be set per-conversation, i.e. my friend texts me on one number and Textra automatically sends it to my Google Voice number on my desktop, etc.

    I think this would be a great addition to the app.

    Google messages recently implemented the ability to send at a later date/time. Really good feature. Hope Textra can duplicate it.

  16. Community Spam Submission

    Pertaining to the ongoing spam messages we all get, and all the apps that I use, how about adding a community spam submission button (spam option under the block option).
    I am not sure if Textra keeps any sms data, but the idea is that the user community would send/submit a spam message (phone numbers or emails), and if say an excess of say 5 to 10 users submit the same message, Textra would filter it out as spam or block it.

  18. Enable iPhone reactions for segmented texts

    When foreign users or family overseas send texts, they're often broken into very small, double line portions in order to all be delivered successfully. Upon reacting to a message, the legacy response of <"laughed at" etc> "text quotation" will often be split if the message being reacted to is larger than the allotted message size for their carrier. Textra's emoji reaction feature fails to recognize segmented quotes and therefore doesn't apply the reaction to a user's own message and instead sends the entire message again in quotes, as we've been used to in the past.     If a contact has been entered into blacklist, the pictures attached to its messages should not be saved to the Gallery.

    Allow us to have an option to set if we even want a vibration for incoming messages or not. Personally, I don't want them.
