    like on the fruit phone. I would love to be able to swipe right on a message and respond to it, and have it pop up in a separate little bubble above mine to show I replied to it

  8. Newer Texts Nearer Bottom of Screen

    Provide a layout option for newer texts to display in lower half of screen, closer and more convenient for thumb access, versus stretching thumb all the way to top of screen for newest texts.

    Accomplished via 1 of 2 options:

    1) A partial-screen view of text list, where bottom half of screen displays the texts list as-currently, just partial & shifted down significantly; and upper half of screen is initially unused, until lower half is scrolled up. Similar as other apps/brands have enabled easy one-hand functionality.

  10. icon when u get a text

    PLEASE disable the feature where an icon shows up on your home screen when the text is 1st received. I can't get rid of it
    I had to uninstall textra to get rid of it .
    I could not find anywhere in settings to disable it.

    Typing in a name for a new message doesn't show contacts with the closest matching name. The search algorithm could be improved significantly.

  14. Emoji Search Option

    It would be great if there could be a keyword search function in the emoji tab. I understand emoji suggestions appear as you're typing, but it would be great to have a separate search function.

  15. make a read text out loud button

    Either a button or long press the text & have an option to have the text read out loud. This is almost a necessity when driving or working when you can't always have your eyes glued to your phone. I can't believe this isn't more standard.

  16. Silent notification with set customized interval time set

    Limit the notification. Example I just rejected a text from one person, a land within a customizeable time frame, say 2 minutes. With those 2 minutes any text I received will be silent, no annoying notifications. There used to be a way for this, not sure if it was with android or textra

  17. Blocklist

    I'm uninstalling Textra because of your absurd blocklisting. So I don't want to see messages from someone, but if I look at the blocklist list, I can't even delete messages from that list? My ONLY 2 choices are to View Convo or Un-blocklist? Bye.

  18. Blocklist messages

    if someone is blacklisted, you won't get notifications but would you still be able to see a message if they sent one by going to settings and viewing chat?

    Good morning The application does not show the entire contact list. To select the person I want to send a message to, I must first use the contacts application. However, when I want to forward a message to other friends: forward (share), I can only send it to those shown by the textra application and this is 1/5 of all. Perhaps it only shows contacts from the sim card. I don't know. This doesn't work properly at all. Another problem is communicating about unread messages and these unread messages cannot be seen.
