  2. Mark message as unread

    I'd like to be able to read a message and then mark it as unread so I can come back to it later.
    When I mark a message as unread I'd like the notification badge to show the number of unread messages I have.

  3. option to delete your ideas

    I just posted an idea that has already been incorporated into the app so now I feel stupid and want to delete it :/ so give us the option to delete our posted ideas instead pls 😭

  4. Sandboxing of suspected spam

    I like the idea of auto blocking people, not in my contacts. But what if those texts were put in a folder much like spam on email for us to verify? That way we could add someone new to our contacts or confirm it as spam.

  5. Message Folders/Buckets

    It would be nice to be able to have group conversations by themes (Work, Family, Friends, etc) and have these groups or buckets display in the top header. Thus would help declutter and find messages easier.

  6. Custom Notification Vibration Patterns

    Can you bring back the custom notification vibration patterns? 🙏 Having a different vibration pattern for Textra notifications helped me distinguish them from other notifications in loud environments when my phone was in my pocket.

    we all have group chats we didn't ask to be in and can't get out of, how's about a silence notification for just that one group?

  8. Organize

    Add more options to organize messages. Not really sure how to go about this, but would like to follow a conversation thread easier. Like right now it shows based on who you selected to send to. Maybe have per contact do if I get a reply later in the day, I can easily tell what they are replying to exactly.

  11. Option to open full app when clicking on notification.

    When I tap on a notification to read and reply to a text, I expect to open the full messaging app at the conversation. The limited seperate app that opens up is not something I ever want to use.
    Please add the option to just open the full app always.

  12. Relpy to photos

    Some apps allow replies to images sent. currently the app puts 'replied to image with (insert emoji)' if someone replies to one. I feel this feature would prove useful.

  14. More Customization...(?)

    I know this is pretty much beating a dead horse, so to speak 🫤, but honestly, it really WUD be super-dooper sweet if there were more Customization options, FR! 😬 gradients available to. ALL surfaces within Textra WUD really be SO DAMN SWEET!! by that I mean the chat bubbles, even the text (!😁🙏),

  19. Archive, please

    Could there please be an archive option? My inbox gets very cluttered but I don't want to delete certain conversations. I saw that other people have been asking for this feature in reviews and elsewhere for a long time. Please consider. I only just downloaded this and it's a beautiful alternative to the default texting app but no ability to archive conversations might be a deal breaker. I have ADHD and I can't handle the clutter, so an archive folder would he a huge step in accessibility. Thank you for taking the time to read.
