  1. Perfect Color

    Change the preset color options to a color picker/generator for perfect theming. You guys already offer quite a variety of colors to choose from, which I'm thankful for. It's great. But I use Substratum and it has a Color Picker (on the light version of the app) so you can choose literally any color combination you like. So sometimes the colors just dont quite match up. I realize it may sound trivial or insignificant but sometimes it may be a deal breaker. Especially when I cant theme Textra with Substratum. There are a few that have Textra themed but not…

  2. Unknown Recipients

    Can you possibly fix it where unknown recipients are separated from known contacts? The other app I used provided this feature and all my unknown recipients were grouped together in a folder.

  4. Snooze messages

    Please add the ability to snooze messages (not just on quick reply) and be alerted at a later time as if the message is new. This would be similar to the functionality in Gmail.

    If a contact has multiple numbers, merge all conversations for the contact on their different numbers.

  8. setting to NOT see ”likes”

    somehow others tag texts as ”liked” (iphones? not in my android app) then I get the entire stream.
    I want to not see such likes.

  9. Disable slide to call/slide to delete message thread

    Have a toggle option for enable/disable the feature where you slide someone's name to call or delete.

    my phone remains unlocked in pocket sometimes and has deleted threads and posts kept dialed.

    furthermore, the feature is simply annoying as requires more precision when sliding to prevent unintended effects.

    this is literally the one feature that has kept me from buying pro

  10. Customize message counter icon

    Be able to change the color and maybe even the shape and add animation to it like maybe floating down to the app icon or floating around it. idk just thoughts that seem cool lol

  11. Database cleanup

    I just deleted a 1.16gb database. Had to do the same thing a year or two ago. Can you add some type of DB maintenace? Taking up that much space is crazy considering it is now 90mb after deletion.

  12. Larger video files and better quality.

  16. Font size

    I'd like to be able to change the font size within each message or going between contacts. Looks like theyre currently set depending on the phone screen resolution.

  18. Open full sized image before sending.

    Please make it so you can open the full sized version of an image by tapping it in the text box before sending. It'd make it easier to double-check that I'm sending the correct image. Thank you love the app!

  19. Emoji Search Feature

    Because there are so many emojis these days, it makes sense to have a Search Option to find the right emoji during a conversation. My Samsung phone has this if I use the "System Emojis", but Textra doesn't offer it when I use any of the emojis I've downloaded for use. Would be great to have this!
