  1. Enlarge text boxes to full width of screen. With different colors for sent/received they don't need to be shifted right and left.

    I don't see any reason for the text boxes to be so small. Since they're different colors for sent and received it's easy to see which is which you don't need to shift to the right side and left side of the screen. Full width will allow more text to be read on the screen.

  4. Show how long ago a message has been sent/received below the message itself, in small font

    it is more feasible this way to know how long ago a message was received. When the message gets a day old then you can show the actual time it was received in

  8. Make an option to change all text color to basic colors.

    When you tap the option, it will open a little window, kind of like the them color window. You could put a few colors like black, white, red, blue, and green.
