  1. Regarding scrolling in a text message.

    Google messenger is the only other text message app i have seen that does this. If i am scrolling in a group chat or even a regular text message to catch up on my texts, if the other person sends a text it automaticlly will reset the scroll bar to the newest text. I have to scroll up again to read up and hope that the other person will not send a text. Google messenger comes up with a little bubble that says a new text has arrived but it lets you scroll through your messages still. Wondering if this…

  2. Add sent messages to the individual recipient's threads.

    Really like this app, but surely the messages I send to multiple recipients should then appear in each of those recipient's conversation windows in textra. For example if I text Bob and Jim: "come to my party", then I need the message "come to my party" to appear in Jim's message stream just above where he replies "yes". Please make this change.

  5. SMS/MMS overseas numbers

    Found a bug when sending messages (SMS and MMS). Let me explain. I go to England frequently, so I have a set of 2 numbers for my most used contacts (so maybe around 5 to 8 people). One number is their American number, the second is simply that same number, but with proper country codes to be able to call out of the UK and into the US. So all it is: 2 numbers for those select few contacts. However, for some silly reason, when I go to compose a new thread with one of these contacts, textra only recognizes…

  6. different ringtones

    I have a galaxy s4 and before I was able to set a ring tone for my notifications and my messages. I was wondering if you could fix it to where this app had its own ring tones instead of using the notification ringtone. Oh and also please allow for the use of Zedge ring tones because that's where most of mine come from.

  7. would like to have Quick text settings or canned texts.

    Add the ability to have quick text settings or canned message settings & be able to add your owso I don't have to type the same message over and over. It will be a five star app in my opinion.

  8. Saving numbers to contacts?!

    Is there not a way to save a new number to my contacts through this app?! I've been trying to find a way to do this but I'm coming up empty handed. If there is a way then I'm probably just overlooking it but I've had this app for a while now and that's definitely in the top three most irritating options that it is totally lacking. I assumed that this would be one of the most common needs for a texting app but maybe I'm incorrect. If there is already a way in place to do this then please…

    There needs to be a favorites section where you can click someone's name or picture and immediately text, instead of scrolling down to find who you're trying to text. Also, this is my favorite texting app

  13. What happened to quick favorite contact selection for new message?

    New interface sucks. Quick select favorite contacts from circle icons/pictures was way easier. New list format is harder to see and quickly tap multiple recipients. Just changed in last update. Not a good change.

  14. Add reply bubble like ios imessage

    After sending a text and the other person is typing back, show that they are typing back to you, so that you know they are typing right back to you and you will be getting a fast response. Plus add read receipts for certain people only.

  15. Allow copying only certain text from previous messages rather than just the whole message.

    Use the built in android text selection so you can long press a word to highlight it, then adjust sliders as needed to modify the selection.

  16. Add the option to customize specific message tones to people

    I don't know if it's not working but every time I receive a text it's my default tone. I'd like to be able to delegate specific sounds to certain contacts.

  20. Ignore diacritical mark of letters

    My Xperia Z with original Andr. 5.0.2 doesn't ignore diacritical marks so name "Štěpán" (eng. "Stephan") cannot be found when I type" stepan". If Textra can ignore those marks, it would be awesome.
