  1. Please add the option to set Textra as the default app for receiving emergency, amber and presidential alerts

    Right now I have to receive all emergency alerts through my default Messages app on my Samsung Galaxy S8, even though I use Textra for all other messaging. PLEASE add this option?

    Bonjour je viens d'acheter votre application, je l'aime bien, il ne manque qu'un Widget sur lequel il serait indiqué lorsqu'on reçoit un SMS et le nombre de SMS reçus.
    Nous sommes en 2919, on va sur la Lune, d'autres applis semblables possèdent des Widget, moi je préfère la vôtre, alors un petit effort S.V.P. et vous rendrez des milliers de Clients heureux et satisfaits.

  3. MMS picture quality option

    It would be nice to have picture & size of MMS option.
    Example : I prefer JPG to be higher resolution and worse compression than lower res and better quality.
    Then two options would be there
    - prefer resolution + a few options (and quality would auto match based on carrier max size)
    - prefer quality (then resolution would auto match)

    is there a way to have the app support two numbers. as in one for original number and another for a Google voice number?

  5. Block "liked" messages

    Would be great to not receive those annoying "liked" messages from iPhone users. Or at least not resending the entire message.

  7. Predictive answers/responses

    I absolutely love the predictive answers or responses that Android messaging does. They come up quick and make messaging a lot easier and faster. I sometimes now have to use both Textra and Android messaging because I like features of both but would rather see only on Textra :-). C'mon make it happen :)

  8. ability to like, laugh, etc at texts

    please add the ability to like, laugh, etc. to texts -- as well as the ability to see that when others do it instead of "laughed at blah blah blah" I love this SMS app - that's the only thing I wish was different

  12. Finish message before entering recipient

    Hi, once again an unfinished text message got out accidentally. Not much damage was done, fortunately. I think that it's imperative that a message should be possible to compose and finish before without a risk of sending a draft accidentally when your finger touches the Send arrow. You should be able to type and finish your message before you enter the recipient!

    Allow a long select on a text to select/copy text within a single bubble of text. On very long texts, sometimes I don't want to copy the whole thing.

  17. Timestamp error

    A multitude of users, myself included, are seeing two timestamps for received messages. The times are just one to a few hours apart, but same minute. This is occurring in almost all of my received messages.

  19. Pop-out cursor window

    When I want to copy a text message or send as new, I hover and hold on the message with a finger press. After about a second, the message is selected. Next, go up and then select the action in the top right corner.

    My idea would be hold the text and then a small window pops up from just outside the message box with the same options; "send as new", "copy text", etc.

  20. Block text from email address

    I am constantly getting spam texts from email addresses. A way to block this or to block specific words in a contact name would be great. Thanks!
