  2. A typing indicator...

    I absolutely love this app. The developers did an awesome job designing it. The only feature I would like to see implemented in the future is the ability to see when the other person is typing (a three dot indicator like Facebook messenger or something). This would be a useful tool, even if it only worked with other Textra users (I can convince my friends to download the app for this reason). Wishful thinking. Thanks guys!

  3. Combining messages on a single notification

    Is it possible to combine notification icons?
    Currently if I get 2 messages from 2 different contacts I get 2 Textra icons ony notifications bar.

  5. Drop down notification, pull down preview for more info

    When on screen (not in textra app), and get a notification up at the top, would be nice to be able to pull that preview down to get more than just one line of text. Kind of like stock Messenger app.

  6. + keyboard, clipboard

    Option to customize which icons appear in the list when tapping the + next to the keyboard input box.
    I have no use for emoticons, gifs, or sharing my contacts.

    Please add a clipboard to Textra. When something is cut/copy it should go into the clipboard. Include options to limit quantity of copied items, locking to clipboard, and pin protection to access contents.

  7. blacklist

    need to be able to black list by domain, meaning I get text messages from ie outlook and hotmail that only allows to block just that address. they have unlimited address so really no point unless you can block sms&mms by domain.

  10. Listening to audio clips

    Allow for option to listen to audio clips in private with the handset, vs the speakerphone. Something like what WhatsApp does - when you put phone up to your ear, it switches to handset mode.

    For the next up date can you please add a bubble with some dots that lets us know if someone is typing and when we send a message can it tell us that they read it or not and can you also add more emojis

  18. work profile contacts

    contact info from work profile doesn't sync up. in Google default app the contacts show as a work profile contact, but this app keeps them shown as unknown even when work profile is active.

  19. Search for Ringtones/ Texttones

    I want to set a specific sound effect I downloaded but when I search my internal storage through Textra it shows all 3000+ songs I have and they aren't in any order. I know what my file is named but I can't find it unless I spend 10+ minutes looking. It would be nice to be able to search through my files within the app

  20. TRANSFER.

    would be really nice to be able to transfer messages from whatever text app you were using before textra that way no conversation was lost. Also what happened to the contacts picture being shown??
