    would like to see date and time above each message, to keep track, and to also say " you sent me this on 1-1-21 @ 0900"

  3. Search for photos in messages

    Allow the option to search for all photos in text messages.

    Also, handy to have a tiny paperclip or photo icon, etc., next to the user/contact so one can instantly know if any photos are in that conversation.

    Helps to keep all photos out of the messages database to keep the size down. These features would imensily help.

    it would be pretty cool to see an auto replies setting where you can enable auto reply but exempt certain people from it

  6. customizable emoji set based on contact

    When speaking to friends on a Samsung, or a pixel or an iphone, they each see different emoji sets. fortunately I use Textra! and can change my emoji set to theirs so I can see exactly what they see, so I know I'm conveying the right message. unfortunately we have to go back to main settings to change it each time you want to do this with another contact.
    add the emoji set customization that Textra already supports to the unique contact customizations!

  7. button for group vs bulk

    this is the only feature I really want in textra. my old app had a button when I added multiple contacts to change the setting from group to bulk right in the chat window without having to go to settings. really wish it was that easy in textra!

    a dark mode background option for the app icon would be wonderful. the white icon background stands out on my home screen like a sore thumb.

  10. Personalized text color

    you can personalize the color theme of a contact, but not their text. so, that means that some colors cannot be used, because it cannot be seen with the same color text. for example, a black theme cannot use black text, and a yellow theme cannot use white text. it would be nice to be able to change a theme for someone to yellow, and the text to black, so that I could read it, while keeping my black theme and white text for others

  12. Interpret iMessage "tapback" icons

    So annoying when iPhone users "Liked/Emphasized/Questioned a ____" and the response reprints my entire text. Google Messaging app interprets this now. It would be great if Textra Pro would, too. I volunteer to Beta test it!

    If a contact have multiple phone numbers, display which one sent the message ("Mobile", "Pro", ...).

  20. Single function Blocklist AND Delete

    Takes so many extra taps to do both.
    Must delete before leaving the blocklisted message or it stays and builds the database.
    Takes enough just to report it.

    I have my steps to handle that and manage spam numbers otherwise, BUT an option to Blocklist AND Delete at the same time would be easy to add and ideal for many.

    I'm told this exists already on other apps.
