    If someone messages you while you're busy, and you have your phone in 'do not disturb,' the app would automatically send that person a preset message letting them know you are busy.

  4. Toggle notifications for message reactions

    I would like to be able to disable (and re-enable by choice) notifications for message reactions by others.
    Now, mine gives the same signal for reactions as it does for actual new messages. Often confounding. Thanks very much!

  6. Full screen editor

    Sometimes I write long SMS's and it would be great if when I reach the actual top space it changes the editor to a full screen before 'eating' my first lines of text. Please add this feature. Thanks.

  12. Pin "Keep" to top Pin "Keep" to top

    Ability to pin my "Keep" conversation/notes to the top of the conversation list.
    In the mean time it disappears off screen as soon as I've sent or received in N other conversations. My workaround in the mean time is to constantly go in to "Keep" and bump it by altering one character to keep it new. Keep is great but make it AWESOME by sorting it to the top automatically!!🙏🏻

    Filter or group nuisance texts - I get a lot of spam and it clutters my inbox. I'd like to filter out texts to see texts from my contacts only, is that possible?

  16. export to text file/automatically partitioning of exports

    I have 75, 474 messages in a single conversation that I need to export. Despite the option to skip the photos and send only the text messages, it crashes every time.
    On other threads with a much lower count It opens up the application picker allowing me to select Outlook at which point attaches to the email. But the one that I need that has a enormous number of messages which I need to export for legal reasons crashes before they're getting to the application picker.
    If there weren't so many I would find a way to maybe break it…

  17. Textra for Android Watches (WearOs Version)

    This is not a new idea. I'm just hoping if enough people request it Textra will give it to us.

    We need the app to run on WearOS 4, so that we can use the actual app on our android watches. Only being able to receive notifications of incoming messages is extremely limiting. Samsung Messages and Google Messages have apps that run on the watches that offer great functionality. Textra should as well. Personally I'd be willing to pay a premium for this, and I expect other Textra watch users would be too.

    Please consider this request.

  18. Read messages

    There's a bug.
    I have certain chats where the messages stay in bold even after reading them. Even if I write a message it is in bold once I get out of the chat and into the messages overview.

  19. silence reaction notifications in chat settings

    We need a global and per-chat setting to turn off notifications for reactions in both single and group chats. In a big group chat one person will write something and then you get 15 notifications as everyone gives it a heart or whatever. Very annoying. Thanks!

  20. The new way of selecting photos is cumbersome

    The old method, single tap, was much simpler and easy to use, please go back, honestly could make me stop using Textra with how annoying it is now.
