  2. Settings option to remove the dual sim selector icon! It's too easy to click it accidentally and apply charges!!!

    You've added the sim selector icon, which is really great. But you haven't given any choice whether user wants it active or not... Why add some functionality but no preference/settings entry for it?!

  3. "Messages from contacts" and "Other messages" tabs

    Similar to how Facebook has a separate tab for messages from friends, and messages from non-friends. I frequently receive spam text messages from unknown numbers. I would like a way to filter out messages from numbers that aren't on my contacts list, so that they do not appear on my primary feed. Notifications from the "other messages" tab would be muted.

    I would also like for Textra to intelligently mute notifications from certain numbers if I receive (but do not respond to) multiple messages from the same number.

  4. Add contact icons in SMS threads :)

    Would definitely be a great addition to have contact pics to the left of their speech bubble

  6. Textra using too much data

    App uses a large amount of my monthly data. Is there a special setting I need to change for it to use less? Didn't think texting used data. Purchased the pro in hopes that it would stop. Please help!!

  7. Flat Status bar

    Hopefully an option to use Flat Status bar instead of the default Andoird L. Flat looks better, like 9gag app when in night mode or Yaata SMS or F1 app

  8. No "Landline/Undeliverable" replies

    In my prior texting apps, if I happened to send a text to a landline number, a reply would soon or eventually be received, saying something like
    "Undeliverable, xxx-xxx-xxxx is a landline number"
    Could Textra be updated to receive those notices? If not, is that have to do with the mobile service provider, and the programming of the texting app that came with their usual bloatware package

    Havinga setting option to show recent conversation. Right now, you have to favorite the contact for it to pop up.

    Having an option to quote a message for replying would enhance communications on Textra. Especially in long chat conversations.

    Hello Textra,

    You must add the feature to send Blank sms. Some networks require blank messages to activate their services. It is very important. Please do it as soon as possible.

  14. Option to fix a new conversaton for cosumization (post 3.28)

    Thanks for the conversation functionalities in 3.28, BUT it is a bit complex in a NEW conversation.

    You currently need to type anything in the message-field and then type BACK to save it as a draft, and then reopen the conversation. This works, but is not exactly intuitive...

    Between the Person+ and the Exit-X there could be the usual vertical ellipsis, that could have an option to fix the recipients, and thus making it into an established conversation, and thus allow for changes like bulk/chat.

    OR you could replace the Exit-X with the ellipsis and then have Discard and Fix…

    Nougat allows users to set/create custom Quick Settings in the Notification drawer. Have one that will be able to let you start composing a message.

  20. The hold app option that current used on Android 7

    Could we have the new force touch option that comes with Android 7.1 and the Google pixel phones which when you hold the app options appear to send new message or a recent person you messaged, its a good feature and should definitely be added to Textra.
