  1. group strangers messages into a folder

    I really like this app but it is missing one feature that I love in gosms pro. The ability to group all of the messages from non contacts into a folder. Could you please add this feature! Thank you

  2. Add Copy and Share Icon After Long Message Press

    After long pressing a message, a delete icon and a 3 dot overflow menu appear. When a single message is selected, it would be great to have a copy and a share icon appear also, this would leave only the lock function not addressed, and then the overflow menu wouldn't be needed at all.

    I'd like to be able to press like, love, laugh, etc to text. GroupMe currently allows what I'm talking about.

  4. signature for voice recognition texts

    it would be great if you guys added a feature where you attach a signature but specific to texts only sent via voice recognition. something like "-please excuse any typos or errors. This text was translated using voice recognition"

  5. YES YES YES to backup-Encryption?

    I'd so LOVE to see the option to backup SMS/MMS to an external drive (PC or SD card)...
    You're going to lose marketshare to Signal, Telegraph, etc. without the option to encrypt messages. I trust you're working on both?

  6. Unretarded Date Format

    Is it so damn hard for you to dev the adjustments for date format? So that user can choose their own preferrable settings? Your format of month/date/year is retarded, and by any definition is not used widely by people of the world.

  10. Selective conversation previews

    There should be an option to toggle the showing of message previews (the beginning of the latest message text, below the contact name) on the conversations list screen. This setting would preferably be per conversation.
    Such a feature would be useful e.g. when someone's looking over your shoulder, and you don't want them to see parts of all your conversations. The privacy concern is similar to the one for private notifications, which is already a great feature of Textra.

  11. I'd pay for Gear S3 support

    I see a few other suggestions, but I just wanted to add that I'd pay for Gear S3 support. The stock messenger seems so weak compared to this, but it's almost necessary if I want to use my watch.

  15. Delete Option Required

    A delete option along with the reply option in the notification would be great. sometimes I don't want to reply but delete it. But I have to open the Textra App and go inside to delete it.

  20. Privacy by keyword

    LastPass and Google send me security codes by text. The problem I have is that they use multiple phone numbers. This means that even if I enable privacy from that contact, I never know if the security code is displayed in my lock screen or not (kinda defeats the whole purpose of a secure security code)

    it would make sense to be able to do privacy by keywords in the text. something like all messages with "LastPass security code" in the body.
