  1. Reaction location

    The translation of iOS reaction messages into reaction icons is great, but the position of the reaction should be on the same side of the message being reacted to as the user who sent it.
    If the other messages from the person reacting are on the left of the screen, the reaction from them should be attached to the left of the message they are reacting to.

  4. Custom Notification Icons

    Allow users to change the notification icon color just like you can customize other parts of the app.
    as it is now, the notification icon for a new message follows the primary color used in the app. If a user chooses a dark color, that makes the notification icon almost invisible when on a dark background --and especially so when using an always on display (AOD), which comes standard with Samsung flagship devices.

  7. Camera bug

    Camera seems to be engaged after taking in-Texta photographs, as indicated by Android active camera/microphone green dot.

    Dot/camera disengages only after minimizing Textra.

  10. Show full notification on lock screen when app is open

    If Textra is viewing a thread, and then the phone locks,band then I get a text, the lock screen shows no banner notification and upon unlocking. This makes it easy to miss notifications. So, please generate a banner notification for the lock screen even if the app is showing a thread.

  13. Wear OS Support

    Would really be nice if we could get support for the Galaxy Watch 4 or other Galaxy Watches that run Wear OS. I know doing Google searches a ton of people have wanted this for quite some time. I'd even be willing to pay extra for it.

  14. Smart Watch version please!

    I have had the PRO version for years, however I have t been using Textra because there isn't a compatible watch version. I just redownloaded Textra because I couldn't remember why I didn't use such a great texting app and when I got a text on my watch, it reminded me I couldn't use Textra in my watch and I almost uninstalled it again. please make a watch version! you would have SOOOOP MANY MORE USERS!

  17. Option to hide contact photos from main menu

    I suggest adding an option to hide the pictures for each contact in the main menu, either removing any icon/picture entirely or replacing them with initials. This feature would help create a more minimalist look.

  18. another in support of a built-in backup option....

    Just want to put my word in along with all the others that while I'm aware that i can backup to onedrive, dropbox, google via 3rd party app and texra copies to the native app, I'd prefer to pay for something more integrated. I just don't have any more directions I can divide my attention using third party app means staying on top of yet another app to make sure it's doing what it needs to do, is permissions don't get changed by some update, or some other nonsense that fails without you realizing it.   19. Android Auto Support on Kenwood 996xr

    Textra does not allow replying in the android auto app. the stock Messages App has to be used for responses in Android Auto. Textra is listed as an app in my Android Auto Launcher but it basically does not have any functionality.
