  3. Stop app from capitalizing the beginning of each word. Like who does that normally anyways. Why would you even want that.

  4. Color the Navigation Bar (On-Screen Buttons) with the Theme Color.

    On my phone, the navigation bar (background of the on-screen buttons) stays black in Textra. It should match the theme color!

  5. The ability to schedule texts?

    just the ability to send a text at a different time. I work at night, so when I need to text people, sometimes I don't think about it until it's too late. It would be nice to be able to send or set up text for the morning.

  7. Larger emoji compared to text

    I'm really, really old (over 50!), and to me emoji seem small compared to text of the same size. I think this is due to emoji having more detail than letters, so it takes a little more concentration to "read" them. To fix this, always draw emoji several point sizes larger than neighboring text, or allow emoji size to be set independent from text size. P.S. I've had this same complaint about every texting app, not just Textra.

  8. Avatar pictures next to text messages

    Textra should really consider adding avatar pictures next to text messages. Makes it much easier to identify who is saying what in a message. QKSMS works this way as does stock Samsung message and it works great. At least make it an option.

  14. LED options please. Blink-rate/timing, custom colors

    Similar to competitor apps (8sms, Hangouts) I'd love the ability to change the blink-rate. Currently it is way too fast and annoys me. I prefer the slow blink of Hangouts and 8sms.

  19. Customize contact list

    Verizon's default android messaging app, while not nearly as useful & fluid as Textra, has a nice feature that Textra doesn't: it allows you to customize the contact list.

    In the VZW app, you can customize your "primary contacts", meaning the contacts that appear in the default messaging contact list. Through the app's settings, you can create this list from any combination of on-phone contacts, a given group from Google contacts, SIM contacts, etc.

    Additionally, if you type in a contact, the VZW app will still search through your full contact list (Google contacts, SIM contacts, etc.), displaying the contacts…
