  2. custom title/name for group message threads

    Can't tell who is on a thread from title as it shows only first and maybe second name depending on contact name length.
    would like to give group convo threads nicknames so more easily distinguished "family" "sport team" etc

  3. Samsung emoji style

    Currently Samsung decided to also make another emoji set, only used on their phones. They are actually very nice and attractive do is there any option to have these added to the list of emoji style available to us?

    Would love to used their style of emoji on my Motorola G, since most of the people I text are on Samsung phones. Also this would make textra the first sms app with all 3 emoji styles available.

  7. Bubble color

    Here my suggestion/request. I see that you can change the bubble color per contact and that's a nice feature but can it be made an option for the theme to be random. Meaning each contact is given a different color until changed if desired rather than all being the same color. Also if I change certain contact bubbles to different colors and I have a group text with them it be nice if the bubbles were the color chosen rather than the default theme color. Kind of like Google messenger but I'd like to use your app..

  8. Ability to hide or keep secret text messages

    If anyone tries to get into your text messages some you can keep private so noone can see unless they know about that screen!

  9. Be able to remove words from the dictionary

    There should be a way to remove words from the dictionary. I often have ridiculous suggestions come up that i would never use. The biggest example is when gaga shows up more than haha and i would never use gaga

    Seriously though the color choices are awful. Bunch of shades of horrid. Use a color picker that we can choose any hex or rgb colors. How hard us that?

  11. Sort filter by date/ time

    Just reinstalled textra onto new handset and afterwards got all backed up texts showing by day received ie Mon/Tue..
    It's no good to me as I have over 4500 texts to sift through.
    Need a clear filter to sort text messages by date and time.
    Any ideas how to fix this?

  13. Share entire conversations Through Email

    It would be useful if you were able to highlight a contact in the main screen, and share the entire conversation through Email, instead of having to manually highlight each individual message.

  14. An option to have timestamps stay on the conversation and to have the swipe timestamp

    As of right now Textra has timestamps set up in a way that you have to swipe the bubble in chats to see it. I want an option to either use that method..or just have the timestamps stay beside the bubbles at all times

  15. Remove blacklisted contacts from search results

    All the spam messages come in the search results and you can never find what you were looking for.
    The purpose is defeated as I'd rather manually search for it in my messages rather than go through all that spam.

  17. Option to recover in-app pro purchase

    I think it would be nice to have an option to recover in-app pro purchases;

    I had to reinstall the app and now it doesn't register that I already purchased pro.

    I will gladly purchase it a 2-3 more time to contribute to the continuing development of this app, as I think it's worth even $5 and I've been waiting for months now for a way to contribute or donate.

    But with that being said, an option to recover would be nice (:

  18. Change default storage location for all messages

    Textra is noticeably experiencing worse speed and fluidity when there are too many texts in one conversation (too many messages, back and forth). For example, there is a delay between pressing send for a message and the message appearing in the convo for longer conversations. Therefore, if all messages can be stored on the SD card instead of in the limited internal storage, Textra can just "read" the messages and won't be as bogged down, increasing both app speed AND functionality (larger storage = more room to save important conversations).

  19. different color bubbles for individual people in a group messages and have options to change each persons color.

    most messenging apps do this. makes group messages easier to read. Also an option to have their bubble color be locked to their specific bubble color.
