    I think textra should start supporting the tilt screen as it sucks to use textra with other apps. It would be great if you add it

  2. choose photo in album

    Hi, would there be a way to have the choice, when searching for a photo to send it, to look for it either by scrolling the gallery (as it is doing currently), or by searching it in the photo album, when the device proposes the possibility to create albums (for example : vacations May 2018, Christmas 2016, etc..)

    I think that this way, it will take less time to look for the pic. you want to send...

  3. Copy and Paste Editing

    On a recent update the ability to copy only a portion of text instead of the entire text was removed.
    This causes a problem when a 2 step verification code is sent to my device because the message will usually contain other words that are not part of the code, and all I really want to copy is the only part of the message that matters. It also makes forwarding messages cumbersome when I have to delete the part of a message that is not relevant to the next receipient. PLEASE bring this functionality back!!!

  4. Role Play

    When you or your contact use two * like :
    an action

    Textra will cut the SMS for isolate the action and write it on the middle of conversation and write the text after or/and before the action, like that :

    Normal SMS :

    I will miss the train ! run very quick and enter in the train Yes !

    RolePlay SMS :

    I will miss the train !

    [name] run very quick and enter in the train

    Yes !

  6. SMS Scheduler

    Been using Textra for quite some time, purchased the pro version - only thing missing is the ability to schedule SMS messages, eg. Reminders to others , Birthday messages, other messages. Would also be good if you could could have lists of custom messages that could be randomly selected and sent at random times eg. To send to the wife or partner, or anyone else.

    Like the color of the custom contact profile Textra should have it's own keyboard that also copies the color and then everything matches!

    add an option to upload an image instead of a the default collab of contact photos to set as the icon for group convos.

    It would make it easier to find certain group texts when scrolling through messages and the default can be just be the collab of contact photos (what it currently is)

  11. Create a task from the SMS

    From a SMS, create a task to be processed later. The task would have these properties:

    Job title: SMS + sender name
    Description: the SMS text and it's date / time
    Category: let the user choose in his costumed categories (used in his calendar or Google tasks app)

    This would be great, because Textra does not really manage a status like "treat" / "done"

    I think that we should be able to search our text messages for keywords or phrases.

    I would like to be able to set some contacts so that no notification comes through, but on certain, customizable, texts they do.
    For example, at work I would like to turn all notifications off except for my kids.
