  2. A Separate folder for unknown numbers (not included in contacts) in conversation list

    idea is to isolate threads/msg conversations for strangers/ unknown numbers. It can be done by creating a separate folder and keeping all such conversations in that folder automatically. Go Sms Pro has already implemented such thing.

  3. Colors.....

  4. Add an option where message timestamps will always be shown by default.

    In the settings, have an option for "Always show message timestamps." The user can either check or uncheck this option to enable timestamps as always being visible or have it remain how you currently have it (swipe left to see timestamps). Thanks!

  9. Add the ability to set favorite contacts when sharing to Textra.

    Currently, it seems like Texted takes your favorites from your contacts. I don't always text the same people I talk to. A better idea would be to be able to manually edit those contacts through the settings menu, or for Textra to show recent text contacts or use an internal counter and show contacts with the most texts.

  11. Ability to use Gallery pics as Backgrounds.

    Would be cool to use Gallery pics for Backgrounds like the stock app and be able to set my own vibration pattern/length.

  13. Show contact names on message instead of just numbers

    Easier to locate or know whether the number a person sent was already saved on your phone or not. This is a feature of chomp sms. Would like it if you would apply it here also.

  16. Numbers convert to link in sms

    Some times someone sends me a phone number in a sms and i have to memorize it and dial it. If it converts to link i can do it with a single tap and its so handy

  18. Group Messaging: ability to respond to individual in group or everyone.

    Wait... how are we talking about all of these other ideas and this one hasn't been implemented yet. it's the most standard feature on any messaging app. When sending a group message there should be an option to turn on and off the ability to have the members of the group respond to me directly or to everyone in the group. And I should be able to respond to a specific user directly without everyone in the group getting the message. There have been times I've sent out a group message and the response which wasn't applicable to everyone in…

    PLEASE ADD AN AUTO DELETE OLD TEXTS.

    Make it an option:
    Opt out - dont check the box
    Option one - auto delete texts in each thread after 200
    Option two - auto delete texts in each tjread after 500
