Being able to add names or numbers with wild card to the blacklist
It would be very helpful if we could add names to or numbers with wild cards to the blacklist. For example numbers starting with 44* or names ending *AD. Or any other combinations with * and ? wildcards.

Fix the "+" function you ruined!
The + menu used to give me the option to add useful, obvious things like a picture or camera shot. Now it immediately opens an oversized emoji selection and there is NO option for pictures, only emoji, even larger stupid emoji, gives, voice, but NO gallery or camera options. Seriously, you ruined the best text program there was with this, it could only be useful to an idiot that communicates with emoji. You should be ashamed of what you did to this program.

Rounded corners quick reply area
I think it would be perfect to round the corners of the quick reply box to match Android P notification and overall look.

videos are sideways in portrait mode
if I record with v30 a Textra video and send it, it will be sidewards (rotated 90 degrees) if I record a Textra video in landscape mode it will be read/viewed normal... on receivers phone

always on display
Make the textra logo show up on the always on display for a Samsung galaxy s8. I am unable to get the same notifications as I would with the stock messaging app on the AOD.

Theme or New Colors
Is it possible to have a theme, like IOS? Or lighter colors for the bubbles. For me, the colors are too dark.

floating chat bubble, private message
you could add a floating chat bubble like facebook uses instead of the quick reply or quick compose from the status bar, and maybe could add some way to encrypt messages possibly like a private message or a secured messaging extension

Notifications closing after 1 text.
There should be a setting for whether the window that appears from responding to a text closes after one message is sent or if it stays open until you hit the back or close button.

Please add option to bring microphone button to primary screen (and move to right side since 90%of population is right handed) (true fact, look it up)

Icons
Giving users the ability to select different styles of icons would increase the amount of users. Many people like to have uniformity of their home screen.
