  3. Contact Tabs

    Have two tabs, one for texts with saved contacts and one for others.
    That way all the 2factor auth, political fundraising, etc ends up in the later.

    Have diff notification settings for known contacts vs unknown

    Would like to see the ability to archive and be able to search without the archived texts being in that which is searched.

    It would be great if it were possible to set the date format of received/sent messages any way you like (for example YYYY/MM/DD). Now in the English version of app the date is displayed in US standard.
    Second issue is displaying the full date even in the latest news instead of in example yesterday or week name

  10. here is an idea...fix search glitch!

    when searching a contact, the behavior of searching on top of texts differs from using the search icon on the bottom.

    if you have a text history with someone, you must search on the top. if you don't, you must search using the bottom icon. this is rediculous, and I always have to double search. I assume this is NOT by design and a glitch, but one I've waited to be fixed for almost a year. 1 global search is enough. however, if you want the top search to scope only to existing text threads fine, but then at least…

  11. Option to Lock a Thred

    can you PLEASE make an option to LOCK a thred from a Contact so the ENTIRE thred doesn't get deleted by accident. Getting so much Spam it's Too easy to swipe away a bunch of spam texts then swipe away an entire thred from friend or family by accident

  12. Syncing with apks

    To be able to use Textra with some of my phones/tablets that are WiFi only, I have to use the Textra apk & none of the apks downloaded from the same source sync with each other. Also, when using the app from Google Play, it doesn't sync with any Lifeline devices.

  13. Leave a Group Chat

    It would be nice if there was a way to leave a group chat; maybe there is and I haven't found it. Or to not receive notifications just for that specific chat (again, maybe there is a way to do it, but I haven't figured it out). When I'm trying to work but need to have notifications on for other messages, it's very distracting to get constant group chat notifications.

  14. International breaks conversations (+1 prefix)

    It looks like your app splits conversations with phone numbers that come with a +1 prefix, which means that if I'm traveling internationally, things get goofy. You should detect this and find those contacts correctly.

  18. Add 30-day trash bin.

    After deleting a message it would be nice to be able to recover it sometimes. How about adding a trash bin that holds deleted texts for 30-days?

  19. Rectify this: Sad emoji grey, small and simple

    Ever since a recent upgrade (the one adding more emojis?) the next
    basic "sad" emoji, although appearing colourful and in the same style as the others, comes out when inserted into a text as small, grey and very simplified. Idea: revert to previous and make it like all the others.
