  1. "Mark As Read" Feature

    I don't think I'm alone when I say that I can't stand when a thread has a lit up number next to it saying it has unread messages. I am also not alone in being infuriated when you can't get those numbers to go away, despite reading all the messages present. Could you make a feature that, when highlighting a certain text thread, you can click "Mark As Read" and remove all Unread notifications?

  2. Change signature menu to show 'PRESS FOR SIGNATURE "And then" NONE "to the rest of the list.

  3. Sort messages inside thread

    When you have a lot of messages in single thread, the most recent is far down. If it's possibility to sort by date ascending or descending, you could have most recent messages at the top.

  4. Ability to turn off notifications

    I wish there was a setting to turn off notifications. I use this feature frequently and with my phone's default app, it's the first thing under notification settings. To do the same with Textra, I have to go into the app's settings in my phone.

  6. PLEASE!!!!! I'M BEGGING YOU!!

    Make a spam blocker option. I'm a premium member and lately I get several spam texts a day that I have to manually block. It's like if they could just automatically be blocked since they show up as an email address and not a phone number. Please make this a feature. These are driving me insane

  7. textra icon dissapears on Evie launcher

    it used to not dissappear before but now it does. i thought it would be because of Evie. but then other app icons never dissapeared. textra icon in the drawer is there, and the actual app is fine, but icon does dissappear occasionally from my screen and i have to re-drag it back to home page. android 10. (can't update to 11, 10 is last version supported by phone)

  9. One-time pass code copy/insert

    I iPhones have a great feature that allows OTP s to be read and added automatically to the clipboard or text box. I'm not sure if this may be more of a keyboard thing but I'd love to see this go in effect. Bonus for deleting all OTP messages after 24 hours like Google and Facebook Messenger

    it would be great if at the top it showed "2 unread conversations" or something like that. Sometimes I forget to read texts that come in and then they get buried in the list. Would make it easier to know there are texts I haven't looked at. Thanks!

  15. Can select which SIM to resent SMS in failure conditions

    SOS Please allow to select another SIM (in dual SIM phones) to resent a SMS which has failure and didn't manage to send. Easy in three dot menu or inline over the message...
    The only way now to send is to copy to a new message...

  16. Contact Sort Sequence/Display

    Would be beneficial to allow Contacts to be displayed and sequenced Last Name First, if preferred.
    This would mirror other Apps that used Contacts within the App, and also allow this capability.
    It would also match Google/Samsung Contact Apps, if uses has elected Last Name First Display and Sequencing.

  17. please return default notification sound setting

    there used to be ability to define default notification sound in settings, so I could set the default sound for all texts that come through (I was still able to go into individual conversations and customize). this is now missing and I am forever stuck with a notification sound I don't like and it scares my dog. I can't just change it on a conversation level because any new texts from unknown contacts still come through with the old sound I defined before this setting disappeared.
